You're missing the point. Their entire goal is to make "biological sex" a meaningless term. All that matters to them is gender.

I'm not sure why they're trying to do it, but I think it might have something to do with how progressives embrace a variant of the tabula rasa theory. Since everything is a social construct and therefore malleable and changeable, any innate aspects of the human being (sex, ethnicity, mental ability) must be willfully ignored as hard as possible.

It's genuinely a strange thing how common it is that certain people that suddenly decide they're trans just seem to lose all individual and unique personality quirks. It's genuinely fucking depressing watching the cycle of swaths of people kinda melt into the same homogenous cutesy caricature type shell personality for a lack of a better way of putting it right now.
It's fucking insane how just roughly around a decade back nobody gave a shit if you were trans or not for the most part and that kinda dog shit was relegated to the more insane corners of tumblr. I always see shit about them hyping up their old friends potentially leaving them but I rarely ever see that actually happen unless they go full aggro on them for misgendering or some shit like that.
