That respirator filter is a NIOSH Green, a gas vapor filter used to filter Ammonia/Methylamine and as has been previously suggested the ranch may be a cover for drug production.
However, some roof cleaning fluids do use ammonia so I'm probably talking out my ass.

Really gross motherfuckers with poor hygiene and diets get this like oil on their skin like some sort of secreted goo.
In the army we had this absolute failure of a human being with it. He was probably 30 pounds under normal weight but had a pot belly bc he ate pizza and mountain dew code red exclusively. He was also filthy like we did a barracks inspection and found a half eaten burrito in his sock drawer. I'm sure there is a medical explanation.
He had that goo shit. It was like viscous like the stuff neo woke up in. Also he smelled fucking terrible.
