As someone who was a huge fan of Etika for almost 5 years before his death, I wish his fans would stop ascribing his downfall to anything besides his own fractured mental state. Following him closely, I'd suspected he was beginning to have problems far in advance of his first breakdown. He always gave me vibes of covering up depression and several posts he made before the first breakdown made me think he was beginning to fear his own mortality and perceived lack of control over his life. Keemstar didn't kill Etika and neither did his fans who called him a clown; sure, they didn't help, but at the end of the day Etika and his problems are responsible for his death. It's a massive shame, but he refused help time and time again, there was really nothing that could have been done short of repeated physical interventions.
