He edited the video, but it's been saved and clipped.

















His also being deliberately dishonest about paper. The heavier, thicker paper is more expensive and was used as stretch goal upgrades for Graveyard Shift, Bigfoot Bill and Earthworm Jim.

Considering how Richard has interacted in such manner before the YouTube days, it isn't too farfetched to think that there's probably more than just this one instance of him engaging in it. I'm a little late in the game, but I think there must have been people who were around to have seen this all transpire and can probably confirm that Richard's egged on people more than just this once before the CG thing.

Although he won't out and out say it because of how stupid it is, he's mad that he isn't considered a real publisher like the guys on the panel in Dark Horse, Fantagraphics and IDW. Now Zack is beefing with the founder of Diamond Comics Distributors.

Maybe he needs to address what the hell he means about paper, but it still sounds like the only people that would be the target of a theoretical lawsuit are the ones deliberately telling lies to hurt the business, the way Mark Waid went around at conventions and to retailers calling Zack a White Supremacist. He's never gone after anyone making legitimate criticisms, even when directed at his own work. He's taken the criticisms seriously and taken actions to improve, like bringing Chuck Dixon onboard to help with the story.

He used to go into his NY closet, put a comicbook on his crotch and "review" it. Dude is 100% cow material. But:
a) He knows it and accepts it*
b) Is likeable enough to convince at least three women to go bareback enough times to get them pregnant
c) A lot of the things he says sound reasonable.
He is relatively less weird than the clownshow that is the comicbook industry and its orbiters.

The facebook comments are in line with "man in a wig" or "cumdumpster" comments. But since then he has taken in a lot of the criticism and is more mild. He clearly reads his comments and takes in some of the talking points. He even went in and talked about Mags as a victim of the comicbook industry in his most recent video about Vagrant Queen.

He may not be a cow right now, but it all depends how far he wants to push being a publisher. His whole schtick was easily accessible, riffing on comics. He has an easy-going demeanor and I think it became the foundation for his channel's success. That he actually had experience as a comic creator was cool, but it supplemented his brand as a comics critic. By itself, his stuff was journeyman quality. His everyman persona definitely helped sell his crowdfunding.

Eventually he's going to have to make a decision. His entry into publishing has given him a new set of professional vendettas which prevent him from being an effective critic of the final product and he's been dragging his audience into an area not many people know about or care to know about. He can coast on his outsider freshman status for only so long.

If rants like these become more common, then it is time for the Farms to grab the m1lk buckets (9:20):

So a video shitposter who calls (some) women cumdumpsters may have also shitposted on Facebook or whatever? Who cares? Is there anything actually funny?
