Cause who the fuck cares if the president wears a face mask! I certainly don't want to wear a face mask while working. But I have to cause all Walmart employees are required to wear them due to people complaining that they will get the coronavirus because Walmart employees weren't wearing them. I feel like Twitter's played this song and dance before in the past where something was blowing up and so to "hide" it they dropped a feature temporarily. If "trending" doesn't come back as before and it remains as "what's happening", expect this to be their permanent fix to the "problem" and how people flail about screaming for their trendies fix.
