I'm not saying I'm surprised, but that extreme closeup of Kevin demonstrates how much acne and pock marks the guy's got even nearing his mid 30's. His brother and sister have fairly smooth skin (minus the freckles, of course), so it just further demonstrates Kevin's one nasty dude who doesn't wash his face along with presumably the rest of his body.

The big takeaways from the case is that the guy who got shot trespassed onto construction site wielding a hammer, got a shotgun pointed at him because the neighborhood had a huge issue with copper wire being stolen, and charged the gunner while trying to wrestle the shotgun away rather than leaving, winding up in him getting shot for it. It's somehow been warped into the victim "just jogging" and people are trying to argue around the "suspiciously jogging" perspective when that's as far removed from reality as can be. So you're right to be confused, because there's multiple layers of this demonstration not making any sense.

Man, the breaking up with Ripley is strange with how little Kev seems to care. Even if it's an amicable breakup, there's the awkwardness and the hurt, plus they're still living together.
