The fact that Christians in the west are totally toothless and it's basically without cost to hate on them helps too.
It's somewhat sad. Especially considering you don't really recover from that situation. The guy himself is not dumb, but isolated and desperate. It's a reminder that influence and power are fluid.
I low key wonder was it predestined this way or could have he done it an other way?

Especially an old Historical one. I am neutral over the whole pagan v. christian debate, but it's dumb and barbaric to tear down an old historic building. Also neo pagans on one hand do the "we was warriors and shit" and on the other complain how the "evil christians opressed them". It's tiresome to see people who claim to roll with some old school masculine energy adopting the same feminine playing the victim act what is expected of people nowadays.
Just show some strenght please, I can respect that. Nobody really likes whiners.

The average TradCath is no different.
Except now its just We Wuz Crusaders instead of We Wuz Vikings. Except arguably more pathetic than the average neo-pagan because their 'enemies' tend to be random e-girls and other right-wingers. They're also more likely to be weaboos as well and think traps are a haha silly meme instead of a secret fetish they have deep down.
At least neo-pagans can make a claim to having 'muh viking ancestors' like claiming to have a drop of Scandinavian blood.
But most TradCaths are basically just Catholic in name only so they can look special and because their favorite e-celebs told them so. Most of them were raised Protestant and many are ethnicities that have no mainstream cultural ties to Catholicism at all (ironically they love to shit on Anglos but how many of them have Anglo blood in them? Being Catholic doesn't magically erase the Anglo blood after all.) but hey favorite e-celeb gushes about how Crusaders are cool and that one CK2 playthrough they saw on YouTube the other day was really fun too.

Most of the ones on twitter are just doing it for aesthetics or humor. The people who care about having good soteriology think they're super cringe. I just hope some of them really are brothers in Christ and not just pretending online.

For me the whole thing is alien. Maybe because I am an outsider to the whole online political subculture(s). But imagine a bounch of I dunno, Greek guys deciding that they will be so super protestant and start larping about the 30 years war etc. I mean okay people need an identity and all their natural outlets are blocked while the consumerist ones are being invaded, but still. It's kinda fake and feels like somebody wants to sell you something at the end of the day.
On a funny note: If it was entirely a poser attitude then they would be like Varg. (aka No, the ancients were totally atheists my dude.)

Tradcaths I know are SSPX and say Freemasons infiltrated the Church with Vatican II. (Not false.) They're also against Nazism. Some guy named Adolf Hitler really hated Catholics having their freedom of religion.

Eh they're sorta off and on when it comes to the Nazis.
Some would go out and tweet stuff saying "Hitler and Germans are cringe because he's a wignat icon", others would still insist "Hitler was an Austrian and Austrians are majority Catholic so by default Hitler is based". I know for a fact the king of the TradCaths Nick Fuentes himself defended Hitler many times and claimed he's watched The Greatest Story Never Told. But given he's a dissident right pundit its a kinda default opinion to have.
At the end of the day though its all cringe. Imagine treating religion like its stats in a video game instead of staying true to your own culture and self: "Well see Protestantism only has a 10% antisemitic bonus and its cringe because my parents practices it, but my e-celeb told me that Catholicism has a 25% antisemitic bonus so that's heckin based right there! I just gotta pretend I'm Italian instead of having Anglo blood and I'll fit right in!"

Being a tradcath is nothing more than a cope. If you say you’re alt right, a bunch of twitter leftists will dox you and get you fired. It’s not much different than the alt lite: they defined themselves by who they’re not so in practice, the alt left reflexively punched right and said “See? We’re one of the good ones!” Except they lost their value and were doxed and fired like everyone else on the alt right.
Tradcaths are the same thing. Fighting what’s left of the alt right in hopes it buys them cover until the ADL and SPLC issue a report on them and then it’s back to square one. These people don’t know shit about Catholicism and are hoping it’s some kind of shield when it’s not. There’s nothing about tradcaths that appeals to mainstream Catholics so there’s no room for growth. It’s just a gaggle of fags who shout DEUS VULT at each other until they get doxed and fired from their jobs.
We might as well start predicting where they will go next. I’m guessing they will want to be white Black Israelites.

Not a bad idea in all honesty to focus more on the hot issue of the day. The "alt-right" was a reaction to the worsening Race Relations under pres. Obama and Black Lives matter etc. It's not impossible to think that after the lockdowns of the Virus there might be a sort of neo-libertarian push due to the government's handling of the situation and the huge gains made by big capital at the expense of the middle and working class.
Meme wise I have to agree with him. The dissident right wasn't really funny in years. Just because a meme is true, that doesn't make it funny. Which is bringing up some issue with the recruitment pipe line.
Pre Trump and C-ville there was a huge troll army on Twitter and the comment sections fighting for space to be seen, not to mention the meme culture was still a fresh idea and memes had a longer half life compared to now. It was a perfect storm for getting new people.
If somebody would care about outreach they could always go to the usual subject + narrative approach which is extremely underused for these people. Maybe they just lack the perspective for this, but it's one of the most tried and true method of greasing the skids when selling an idea. For example talking about computer games but going deeper than muh publishers or muh sjw-s when pointing out flaws and threats to the hobby.
For the kids, I can understand they are looking for an identity with a shared culture, memes etc. Aesthetics wise it is implicit Europeanism. I doubt they have the same cultural power as the Alt Right did on the top of their game, ie making music etc.
If they had any sort of perspective they would know that religion wasn't an excuse to stand up to leviathan, especially Catholiticism. Not to mention it's mistake no. 1 to divide up your forces and start infighting. Divide and conquer is the name of the game.
If they had a serious group with voting displicine and their own little sphere of influence, they could be affecting politics on some level. There is nothing too magical about understanding that politics is about resources and power. Of course they will give away their support of causes and groups, that would otherwise would need to do something for you to get them.
For example if you always support the Republicans, the lockdowns and the Pope those entities have zero reason to even thank you. If you have a voting block who can boycott etc. then you can start seeing other groups trying to make an alliance with you. (Also atomized online shitposters thinking they have leverage over the US or foreign governments, lol)
