So, is the age of social media just amplifying the hateful insane fucks that scream ORANGEMANBAD constantly?
Or is it some sort of manipulation tactic that's breaking down? Too many people only getting their news from 24x7 BE ASCARED HE'S LITERALLY HITLER sources?
Or is all this kayfabe, basically the media having lost their way and pretending because they, alongside the DC elites, decided it was her turn and this interloper can't be forgiven?
The insanity from the left is just above and beyond anything I've expected. Trump can't say good morning without the left accusing him of being racist against night owls.
I think social media is definitely amplifying this, but I know plenty of people who barely touch social media, and consume no more MSM than they've done for 30 years that have gone bat shit insane. There are tons of factors, including a narrative about Trump that has essentially turned him into the collective Jungian Shadow for many people, but I think this is all an inevitability when the foundational conceptualization of the world (IE Hegel cum Marx cum predator/victim) has actually limited the WAY people are able to think. Everything from the left at this point looks EXACTLY like the Bolsheviks and the pre-war National Socialists. The myopia, the vitriol, the embracing of authoritarianism, the dehumanization of opponents, the social liquidation of wrong think, all of it. They are using the exact playbook from the worst mass exterminations in human history, a lesson we should have learned from the entirety of the 20th Century, and have absolutely no reflective ability to see it.
The last few years has been a real eye opener for me to answer the question of "What did the average German think during the rise of Hitler?" and "Why didn't they stop it?" My answer after seeing the last few years is : we are all animals, and apparently vast numebrs of us are set up to lie to ourselves to promote that sort of thing, believing we are making the world a better place. People have talked about a sort of "erotic sadism" of fascism in the past, but I think it is more true to be an erotic sadism in people who believe themselves victims, whether the Bolsheviks with the Bourgeoisie/Wreckers etc, the National Socialists with the League of Nations and International Jewery, or the modern SJWs and media propagandists with Patriarchy or White Privilege. There comes to be an urge, as sick and twisted and encompassing as that of some sadistic, serial rapist for them to actually live. Erotic-hate-heroin, more or less, and it all comes from the adversarial conceptualizations of Marx.
The entire foundation of that way of thinking has proven itself so utterly dangerous and destructive, but apparently seductive as well.
the tl;dr : a homogenized media and social media are accelerating an inevitability baked into the cake of the Marxist conceptualization of the world.
