Bob refuses (or cannot) understand that people need to go back to their jobs to get paid. Unemployment checks and Trumpbux aren't going to solve people's inability to get food on the table and eke out a living under these extraordinary circumstances. The only reason Bob's able to survive during these times is because he lives in his basement apartment with a relative, has hipster welfare, money from a dying forum, and his YouTube channel. Pull out all of those and Bob would be in the same situation as those he sneers at on an alarming basis.

Spot on. People understand how dangerous the virus is. However, people need to understand that there’s a point where you need to make money.

Realizing the "political elite" aren't his friends and have no intention of helping him in any way would be a great change of pace in his character development. Although at this point I think he's so deep and fervent in his denial that I don't think his fat-clogged brain could even allow him to accept the idea that the likes of Clinton and Biden are never going to create a Star Trek future and are only interested in collecting checks and looking good on television.

Over in the Andrew Dobson (Moviebob fanboy) thread (and Bob listens to the same or the same kind of people), dobson had reblogged someone claiming that Evil Republicans want people to go back to work ..............SOLELY so that they'd get kicked off of Unemployment???? As if that was better than working???? I don't understand this mentality at all. Business owners aren't getting Unemployment; they're self-employed, so there's no unemployment to get "kicked off of" in their case. And not all of them are rich, either, so it's not like they can just weather the storm sitting on fat stacks of cash in a vault like Scrooge McDuck's.
Bob claims it's Karens that want haircuts that want businesses opened up. No, Bob. It's the HAIRCUTTER SHOP OWNERS, who can't feed their kids, who want the salons opened back up.

Nah, he's the kind of man that would print so much money it would become wortheless paper and then wonder why everyone is still poor.
This is a damned if you do and damend if you don't situation. If elections get suspended, Bob will claim Trump is trying to sieze even more power and call him a dictator or tyrant, whatever he can find in his meagre vocabulary. If voting by mail gets chosen, then he will ramble about electoral fraud for weeks upon end.
Remember, for these people working a good honest work is something lowly that only suckers and idiots do. No matter that you need knowledge in a certain area that you expand upon the many years you work on said area or anything, they are just people who were too lazy or dumb to not get a college degree.
Sucks to be them for not choosing the right path.

Bob is an r-selected bughive dweller who has formed his moral framework around his appetite. Anything that would give Bob a perceived edge in whatever present moment he's living in is something that he's 100 percent for. If becoming a member of the Nazi party in the 1930s could have granted Bob a cozy, above ground pad and a ticket to the closest Lebenstraum sex farm, he'd have donned a pair of jodphurs and shouted "Sieg Heil" before you could even turn your head. The only reason he's against Conservatism now is not because of principles, but because he wants to create a hedonistic world where the gibs are free and where women hop from dick to dick like they're playing leap frog. (He figures one of those women might just look the wrong way while jumping, land on his dick, and take his long-reviled virginity.
