DSP is literally one of the luckiest men alive. I don't know how he somehow skated his way out of all of that debt. Probably because most of the creditors didn't give enough of a shit about the debt to begin with, seeing that in the infamous skype call barely anybody on the opposing party showed up. I don't wish bad things on Phil, quite frankly, this is what these companies deserve by giving out unlimited free credit to any smuck off the street. It's kind of up to the creditors themselves to bring up any objections they have to the discharge, though. It's obvious Phil was lying about his expenses and could have easily paid his debts. Apparently every single creditor (without a security interest) was completely asleep at the wheel and didn't do anything.

As much as the result sucked, it wasn't Nancy's fault, or even Dore's fault. It was the fault of the idiots who get bailed out every time they go bankrupt (scumbag companies like Citi) because they care this little about their money, which is often YOUR money too. Who can even blame a pigroach for being a pigroach when our society rewards this behavior?

Just adding onto this, it's also bad because it's an unhealthy investment into Phil's life/online drama. There's a fine line between shitposting on forums and getting a laugh out of clips or whatever vs. getting so invested you're gathering evidence and contacting government workers to try and "win" against a cow.

One of the common things that makes someone a cow in the first place is getting too invested in online drama. For me, one of the reasons I consider Phil a "safe" cow is, unlike some of the other cows on here, he's not actively hurting anyone who matters or influencing anything in the world. I won't deny that it is unfair he makes as much money as he does, but eh, it's not like Phil is the only person in the world who makes way more than he deserves. And given that we openly mock and dox his paypigs, we can't take the moral highground and say we're trying to take down Phil for their sake.

I guess the TLDR is just remember this isn't/shouldn't be "us vs. Phil." And honestly, even if you have a hard time with that and want to see Phil taken down, you're better off not getting involved. Phil has shown time and time again he's his own worst enemy, and he continually does way more damage to himself than any detractor attempt has, which at best, do nothing, or at worse, cause him to get an influx of donations.

My only guess is that Phil claimed his WWE microtransactions in his business expenses (he pretty much said so in his 341) but cloaked them as generic video game microtransactions. Something I've considered in the past was the possibility of Phil or Kat tipping fake amounts to get other people going and to appear successful. I'm talking about the latter half of 2019 here, pre-corona stimulus cheques. If you look at the loans and savings thread, you can see that tips stay relatively stable through 2017 and 2018, then suddenly explode in 2019 right around his marriage and stay inflated through 2019 into 2020.

I know it's extremly unlikely, but I'm just floating the idea that maybe the trustee didn't intentionally choose to ignore some of the most blatant fraud ever seen in bankruptcy court. Maybe Phil just didn't make that much money in 2019. I can see Phil qualifying these amounts both as revenue and as an expense.

I don't believe it myself either, just throwing it out there for discussion's sake.

The sad reality is that Phil will not suffer any negative consequences for his terrible financial habits for awhile. It'll happen eventually, his tax strategy of 'beg for more money to cover last years taxes' will catch up to him at some point, but that wont happen for years. The faggy vest streak has proven he hasn't tapped out his paypigs yet.

If you are really that upset about all this, stop following Phil for awhile. Play a video game. Take all the time you spent jerking off to Phil's impending financial ruin and channel it into something fun. Come back in a few months and it will be business as usual.
