Past tweets can be dug up even if deleted. Twitter is required to be able to get deleted tweets back if the proper authorities request them for legal purposes. Things don't actually get erased per se. More like moved to another place that can only be accessed by very specific people in a specific fashion iirc. People skilled enough with computers can still dig these tweets up provided they have the person's account information I think. So Ron deleting tweets is not an issue. It becomes an issue if he refuses to allow them to dig up those past tweets. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

When Twitter suspends an account, anyone who had reported that account gets notified as an "update," whether or not their report had anything to do with the account being suspended.

There's probably a time window for how recently you had to have reported it to be notified, but it goes pretty far back I think.

No. Legally, Twitter has to maintain a record of all correspondence for a set amount of time--I believe it's something like five years. If Ron deleted things and didn't comply with the TDMA, and it gets past appeals, then I believe Ty can bring up all this stuff he said and the jury views it in the worst possible light. Of course, you have to be able to prove there's validity to the claim (so they couldn't say Ron bragged about raping an underage kid, for example).
