Anyone who is here for any reason other than schadenfreude or just fascination in the depths a human being can go doesn't belong here. In my honest opinion the moment someone becomes ""emotionally invested"" in an lolcow and actively seek their demise, they've reached the same level as the lolcow.

Worse than that DSP isn't going to provide any entertainment value for a while, and assuredly he's not going to dig himself back in a hole immediately.

Maybe not immediately, but he is definitely going to dig himself back into a hole real fast. DSP only makes above-average income, yet he is somehow such a retard at handling money that he manages to burn through it at a rate that would make MrBeast blush. He also still has to deal with any of his taxes that he didn't pay off (Those don't get discharged by a bankruptcy).

There would be something interesting in all the options outside of DSP getting his bankruptcy pushed through. If it was thrown out, he would be more aggressive with trolls, begging, and videogames or at least there would be some other consequence DSP would have to face. If it got moved to a 13, same with the bankruptcy thrown out. Chapter 7 with items liquidated that he didn't want to part with up to and including the condo gives some sort of intrigue as to what the next step is.

As it stands, DSP just continues to make ~10k and loses most of his debt payments which makes his begging less severe and his mood elevated because he's not dealing with something so not even the saltiness at everything because his situation is significantly less stressful. The only bump in the road that can foreseeably happen in the next year is the Connecticut condo foreclosure and him having to pay ~60k in deficiency which probably won't even significantly up his begging practices.

Essentially a TL: DR, any other option than what happened would have resulted in the one thing DSP hates more than anything, and that's putting effort into something. Watching that conflict would have been much more satisfying.

Theres a lot of gatekeeping and moral high ground standing taking place in the forums right now. The DSP detractor community is starting to act like Wing's, telling people how to act and feel, just to have an autistic civil war take place.

Did I want DSP to get fucked by the long shlong of the law? Absolutely. Watching his case go public and him spin his lies has been entertaining these last few months. DSP was boring for months before this all started. I was excited to see him announce an EMERGENCY stream to save the house! Him rocking back and forth, chewing on his hands, and begging his whales and pay pigs to send their Trump Bux while blaming the detractors.

Now its back to business for DSP. Play games terribly, have no opinions on anything, and continue to treat his actual fans like trash if they ever dare step out of line.

It just feels so anticlimactic though. It's almost like if (I'm gonna nerd here for a sec) Frodo and Sam make it to Mount Doom and then Tolkien was all "And Sauron just plain fucked off to somewhere else for a nice vacation and all the orcs turned into nice people, the end". Nothing of consequence happened, nobody earned anything, no lesson was taught. The biggest piece of DSP lore remains unknown and the crux of what got him through this mess, his shady concept of what exactly constitutes his $5K+ business expenses (because DSP having to admit it's for WWE Champions rather than having some circumstantial evidence would make this a lot better overall story).

Worse than that DSP isn't going to provide any entertainment value for a while, and assuredly he's not going to dig himself back in a hole immediately. There won't even be a redemption arc because this is a total win for DSP, his credit being ruined only really affects his getting a loan or a credit card because he already has assumedly a fixed mortgage. He'll just go back to doing what he does, being a bitter fuck playing video games he hates siphoning off tard bux from his audience and the occasional gay ops troll which honestly doesn't make for a good story to follow.

It will take a while, but this is Phil. His super power only kicks in to prevent absolute disaster from happening. He's an autism and drama magnet, so eventually something will happen that will be funny. This has been thoroughly entertaining. Over 1/3rd of 2020 is gone and it's been action/drama packed. Some people expect an eventual divorce saga to take place, and if it does it will be quite entertaining. Personally I would like to see the continuation of the WWE saga, where he throws even more money into that black hole. Something tells me that 5 years from now his finances will still be in complete shambles, and him filing bankruptcy now might come back to haunt him if he wants to do it again.

After making a rousing speech about how he did nothing wrong and did everything correct, it is soon discovered that the WAkhando is not on land owned by the United States (a forgotten oversight made during westward expansion) and Phil becomes the leader of his own sovereign nation. All charges are dropped, and Dave is given diplomatic immunity.

There were no assets to find. At least none that would be worth selling. The issue was that he is easily making enough money to pay his debts and just decided not to, and his creditors didn't give a flying fuck enough to challenge it. CitiBank, one of the biggest scumbag banks in existence, recognized one of their own in DSP and decided to just let him steal their money. I think this may be the only time anyone ever got mad a facehugging tentacle rape monster like CitiBank got ripped off.
