It's right there in the rules. It's big, and bold, and green. Also it's kind of the hope of the people here that the topics of these boards learn to help themselves and be better (or, at least, just less of a pain in the asses of those around them). We all find some sort of amusement in watching folks stumble about, but at the end of the day I'm fairly certain one of the core tenets of this place is that we ultimately want to see folks better themselves. This is the part of this that still stands as the dust settles on this farce. I totally believe Phil has no assets of value. I sincerely doubt they would take his house if it were avoidable. I understand that no creditor saw enough stake to move on the pig. Fine. Sure. Makes sense.

But if he was found to have no assets, then where is the money going?
If the business expenses are that high, then why did he admit on stream he hasn't bought anything for the business in 2 years, and how did Nancy not see that there were insufficient business assets for those expenses?
If he rolled his taxes or mortgage payments into the business expenses, then how did that not get caught?
If these business expenses somehow do make sense, then what was that inexplicable $9000 month?

He said on stream today that we had an inaccurate picture (from his supposedly accurate court docs), and that all speculation was wrong. But the money has disappeared. If it's not Champions, then what? There's a massive hole here that will probably never be explained, and it's the same mystery that we've had for years. And Nancy was right in front of it and didn't seem to notice? The only thing I can think of is that she grilled him on WWE Champions and he managed to convince her it was a business expense because it was video game related, and the reason he is so salty with his win is because he has to hope that never gets out. That's the only combination of things that I can think of that explains this based on what we know.

Only Phil could ride through a bankruptcy and manage to still obfuscate the answer to the one question at the core of his existence. Where does the money go.

Sidenote: Now that his bills are effectively cut in half, the tip goal (which is designed to make sure he can afford his interest payments) should also be cut in half. It'll be interesting to hear his new justification once people start asking.

As this whole circus has established, the majority of Phil's posessions are completely worthless, meaning besides Gout Manor, he's flushed every last cent he has down the toilet on stupid shit with no resale value and over time what amounts to pictures of sweaty naked men that when WWE Champions is inevitably shut down, will mean the insane amount of money he's invested will all disappear with nothing to show he ever had that much money.

However, the one thing of actual value in all of this - Gout Manor itself - is, if I'm reading the situation correctly, still very much up in the air. Phil loses the Khando and the credit card debt being removed is not going to mean squat.

Anyone who is here for any reason other than schadenfreude or just fascination in the depths a human being can go doesn't belong here. In my honest opinion the moment someone becomes ""emotionally invested"" in an lolcow and actively seek their demise, they've reached the same level as the lolcow.

I think that's one reason I'm not a huge fan of detractor vids. The vids themselves are alright, but the comments are absolutely crawling with A-logs.

Nothing of consequence happened, nobody earned anything, no lesson was taught. The biggest piece of DSP lore remains unknown and the crux of what got him through this mess, his shady concept of what exactly constitutes his $5K+ business expenses (because DSP having to admit it's for WWE Champions rather than having some circumstantial evidence would make this a lot better overall story).

Worse than that DSP isn't going to provide any entertainment value for a while, and assuredly he's not going to dig himself back in a hole immediately. There won't even be a redemption arc because this is a total win for DSP, his credit being ruined only really affects his getting a loan or a credit card because he already has assumedly a fixed mortgage. He'll just go back to doing what he does, being a bitter fuck playing video games he hates siphoning off tard bux from his audience and the occasional gay ops troll which honestly doesn't make for a good story to follow.
