Ok, when I read the Discharge document last night, I went through so many emotions at once. I felt happiness, confusion, anger, fear, and then acceptance all in 1 second. It's like in the "amazing" movie, X-Men: Apocalypse, when Xavier first felt Apocalpyse through Cerebro.

Nevertheless, I am not really angry but laughed hysterically after realizing how Paul is truly a man who made a deal with the Devil. Honestly, I am glad he didn't lose the bankruptcy because he is like the only lolcow I actually pay attention to. That being said, people saying he won do not realize that Paul has damned his credit to hell for years to come, high-interest rates, and is going to live in fear knowing he can't have a lavish lifestyle anymore. Plus, we do not know what exactly has been discharged and remember the Discharge can be revoked if he does not follow the steps to secure the discharge. Re-listening to the differences, pros and cons between a chapter 7 vs 13 (because I can't remember everything). Guy I'm listening to is going over the worst aspect of Chapter 7 - forced liquidation of assets. IDK how it works, but is there any possibility his shit might be liquidated? It was swapped to an asset case iirc.

Also, there is the public record aspect. This will never go away, especially for someone with Phil's profile. Yes, his credit being shot is how he got to the bankruptcy. He hit the wall of not being able to kite his debt onto new cards.
