Again, we don't know what the trustee/court plans to sell. They might not have even decided yet. I really have a hard time accepting the extra effort Nancy put in just to let him keep the only asset with any real value.

Real estate is probably tanked and I'd just bet on pigroach winning because now the value of the kahndo actually is within the exemption.

As funny as it is that he is getting his debt discharged after his piss poor filings its hard to call this a victory for him right? Like his credit is going to be shit for like 20 years so theirs no way anyone is going to lend him any more money for him to spend on mobile games or anything important. He's bankrupt. Unless i'm completely off base with that assumption.

Yes, his credit is royally fucked for the foreseeable future.

It was a 100% given that Phil was at least partially fucked in all this. The salt stems from the fact he may actually not be "mega fucked." There was pretty good indications (not just Nick's opinion) that he was gonna exit this with a bit worse than a crappy credit report. And that still might happen to some degree. So people can be shocked. There's just no point in being salty.

I don't know about the accuracy of Redfin, but the site suggests the value has appraised by another $3,000 in May.

I feel like Rekieta used Phil as a launching platform to grow his following. Regardless if Phil was going to win/lose this whole bankruptcy ordeal, dogging on Phil seemed inconsequential.

What are you talking about? Rekieta has had a much larger following and far more lucrative streaming career than Phil for years before he ever covered this situation.

Appraisals are heavily-weighted toward comparable sales. Whatever effect the plague has on housing prices won't be seen for several more months. An appraisal done right now would be based on pre-plague comps.

banks will still issue credit cards to ppl like him

they can charge a higher rate, and the debt can't be discharged

For someone who had learned anything, sure, but Phil has demonstrated exactly zero remorse or improvements on financial issues. He dumped fucking $3000 on a WWE Champions event during the bankruptcy proceedings.

He also apparently didn't put any money toward his taxes, even when he had an extra $1000+ a month from not paying his CT condo mortgage and then when he had an extra few thousand a month from not paying his credit card bills from about October to now.

He'll end up here again, but depending on how quick, he won't have bankruptcy as an option.

Oh, I don't doubt he'll create himself another problem to pigroach his way out of. But looking at the numbers, Phil got a win. Can he capitalize on his win? We've see his past history

Bankruptcies drop off of a credit report in 7 years, no? He'll have a credit card at an exorbitant rate in about 6 months and has the opportunity to build his credit score by consistently making minimum payments on it, which will then afford him greater access to credit. Bankruptcy is a reset, it includes no hard limits to keep you from getting there again. Phil's income is really good and his debt to income ratio will be enviable when compared to the average household with a mortgage and car note once the CT condo is resolved

Don't get your hopes up. The only things Phil owns that have more than a few hundred dollars in value are exempt. He spent it all on virtual goods and trinkets

All we have to go on is what's happening at this moment. Whether people were overly optimistic about what was gonna happen, they still need some time to get over the shock of Phil seemingly dunking on the government and six-figure financial obligations before being able to figure out what happens next.

You know it's bad when even AnOnimous is shook.

Some people need to turn the salt down somewhat. It's really getting to the point where one could ask who the real lolcow is at the moment.
He got what he wanted, he didn't lose his house, by the looks of it he played the system, Katherine didn't divorce him and now why would she.
If he plays his cards right he will be very well off, and I believe he will not fuck this up.

Also every previous speculation was wrong why on earth do some people expect new speculating would be correct?

What are you talking about? Rekieta has had a much larger following and far more lucrative streaming career than Phil for years before he ever covered this situation.

He leveraged detractors for YT viewership. What am I talking about? Look at his videos with DSP in the title vs others.

Rekieta did DSP streams only because I Autistically REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE'd at him for years to do a stream about him and he finally gave in.

He threw away 200k of debt, makes 100k a year, keeps the condo he likes better and will have another credit card in 6 months. Seems like a pretty blank canvas with which a man could paint a nice picture of his future with to me

But he won't. He will squander it just like he did the first time. Phillup is a serial failure.

I'm officially giving up hope on humanity and justice prevails over evil in this society

I'm gonna detox away from the fucking fat shit DSP for until the next saga rises.....

Man this fucking sucks I wish the pig burns and dies soon because he is a cancer to the future of our kids and society by promoting every single negative aspects of how to be a responsible person

Just another reminder that Phil is a failure at life. Let's not get too stressed over this "victory". Bankruptcy is still bankruptcy, and we don't know what effects this will have on the Pigroach estate just yet.

Keep in mind that he is 38 years of age, but looks 50. Having good mental and physical health is paramount for happiness. Phil has neither. He looks horrible, and I see nothing about this man that is appealing.

He has no social circle, and his wife is not a winner. Kat has her own history of troubles. She has particular issues with staying settled in one area for too long. She will use Phil and move on when she is ready. Phil will stand no chance of finding another soul mate when Kat leaves.

Phil makes over $100,000 entertaining children. He has no savings. He loathes what he does. He must remind himself on a daily basis that he enjoys his career, because he knows better. We know better. Phil will remain begging and rotting until he's dead which, by the looks of things, may not be far off.

DSP has a severe gambling addiction that DOES NOT GO AWAY with bankruptcy. Debts are discharged, not mental illness. In fact, this could make his addiction even worse. Because of his horrible obsession with WWE Champions and mobile gaming, I predict him returning to court to file for bankruptcy.

Above all else, please remember that Phil is incapable of learning or adapting.
