I remember a while back that one of Phil's viewers had asked him if he would be willing to change his identity and start a new life if his debt was cleared. He didn't rebuke the question and actually gave it a bit of thought. I'd like to see someone ask that question again, because if his debt is being discharged, then now would be a good time to start that process. If you think about it, everyone would win in that scenario. No more DSP ever again, and Phil would live a new life that's more fulfilling without debt or old luggage. Although, that would be one less lolcow to talk about.
LMAO if you actually believe that Phil would ever stop being a streamer by his own will.

If there is one thing that defines Phil other than his absurd luck to face consequences for his bad actions, it's his laziness.

No way in hell he will stop having the easiest job in the world and go have a normal 9 to 5 job.

I don't understand why any one thinks Phil has ''won'' hes a bankrupt 30 year old
he will be 60 plus years old still begging kids wearing that pedo tan vest being teased by kids for decades
if that's victory for him he can have it and suffer it

Rekieta had to be harassed for months before he'd even touch Phil.

He also did the coverage as best he could by having Null on to give the deepest of lore. It wasn't an independent decision.

At worse, he gave an opinion as to an outcome that turned out to be be wrong. It happens. It happened in WW. It will happen again. That's law. The final decision is out of the hands of the lawyers. I like Nick, but learned a LONG time ago to take the prognosis of a lawyer with a grain of salt. People here would do well to learn the same.

Anybody who feels stupid that they didn't intervene needs to remember what happened to @JosephTX.

He threw away 200k of debt, makes 100k a year, keeps the condo he likes better and will have another credit card in 6 months. Seems like a pretty blank canvas with which a man could paint a nice picture of his future with to me

As funny as it is that he is getting his debt discharged after his piss poor filings its hard to call this a victory for him right? Like his credit is going to be shit for like 20 years so theirs no way anyone is going to lend him any more money for him to spend on mobile games or anything important. He's bankrupt. Unless i'm completely off base with that assumption.

DSP managed to walk away from a half million in debt but Kat hasn't been seen or heard from in months.

What deal did you make Phil?

He didn't walk away from the entirety of his debt. He just got the $130K or whatever he put on his cards wiped.

He's still on the hook for his car, his taxes, the WAKhando, and a possible deficiency judgment on the CT condo.

The irony is that he has one of the easiest jobs in the world, and he still can't manage it properly. Even with his debt being cleared, he's still in a prison of his own making.

How long til the next "I need money to pay rent stream?" I cant wait to hear him explain how he still has money issues after his debt is wiped.

Also doesnt this tank his credit?

His credit was already shit. That's what got him to the point of bankruptcy to start with--he couldn't get new credit cards to kite his debt around on. My bet is that the next begging will be for taxes.

For someone who had learned anything, sure, but Phil has demonstrated exactly zero remorse or improvements on financial issues. He dumped fucking $3000 on a WWE Champions event during the bankruptcy proceedings.

He also apparently didn't put any money toward his taxes, even when he had an extra $1000+ a month from not paying his CT condo mortgage and then when he had an extra few thousand a month from not paying his credit card bills from about October to now.

He'll end up here again, but depending on how quick, he won't have bankruptcy as an option.

He's walking away from maybe half of his debt--the CT condo, depending on whether they are able to pursue a deficiency judgment, and the credit card debt. He still has to pay the WAKhando mortgage, his car payment, his current federal back tax payment plan (on which he still owes $15,000), and his apparently upcoming payments for the 2019 federal taxes that he says he wasn't making.

He said what should have happened. If you or I just decided to run up half a million in credit card debt, and decided to snort up a few grand of cocaine a month instead of paying that debt, and then claimed it as "expenses" in a bankruptcy, just giving a giant fraudulent, completely made up number that somehow exactly fit in the Chapter 7 limits, it wouldn't end up like this.

Anybody who feels stupid that they didn't intervene needs to remember what happened to @JosephTX.

The people who did intervene should feel stupid their tsunami of autism buried any chance of it being actually looked into.

Detractor goes into job interview and gets asked probing and judgmental questions about how he's spent the last decade trying to take down a mentally disabled man, and failing.

Again, we don't know what the trustee/court plans to sell. They might not have even decided yet. I really have a hard time accepting the extra effort Nancy put in just to let him keep the only asset with any real value.

Yeah this was never going to be the "end" of Phil no matter the outcome. As long as free money is being given to him on a daily basis and he has access to an internet connection he'll always be around. He can lose the Wakando, Kat can divorce him, even if his income falls and he has to get a job Phil will always be there to squeeze whatever money he can from the attention whores and lonely losers on the internet. It's not something exclusive to Phil plenty of "content creators" refuse to let go no matter what.

The best thing about this outcome is that it makes sure that Phil learns absolutely nothing. He now think it is perfectly okay to run up debt to your eyeballs, stop paying your bills, and nothing bad will ever come of it.

It causes Phil's maturity to age in reverse. He'll become even more of a man-baby than he's ever been. Soon enough, he'll be crying like a toddler when Jeff doesn't come around in time to save the Vest Streak.

I look forward to Phil acting like an even more entitled shithead now that he made it over a near impossible hurdle due to pure luck. He will now be able to make even worse decisions for his life. There will be much salt and great boomer segments. The future is bright, friends.
