Atlantic City has had an issue since the 90's in that the real high-roller clientele will just pay a little extra on top of whatever they were gonna blow to jet to Vegas to do it where the glitz and cache' for gamblers is a bit better. There was a big push to bring Vegas-style gambling to AC in the 90' and early 00's around the time "Old Vegas" was being redeveloped and the last of the old "Mob" casinos and Mom n' Pop ones that offered ball pits for the kiddies were being bulldozed for a more VIP focused model. As it turned out, the high operating costs of luxury casinos with floor shows and the like meant they never had a chance to recoup their sky-high initial investments from just seniors playing the slots. The Great Recession killed a lot of them, just took a few years for them to bleed out.

Trump coming on board in AC was seen as a last ditch attempt to make what was a fundamentally unworkable business model work. And even at the time, it was doubted it would

So, trying to pin the shuttered joints on the boardwalk on Trump ignores the fact they were dying when he came to town and just failed to resuscitate them.

Did he take a chance to dump bad money in a hole that was about to be tagged "Bankruptcy"? Probably

But those casinos were never going to live and to this day large chunks of AC's gambling industry is slowly going away as it's novelty as the place other than Vegas that you can gamble isn't enough to support a Vegas-style model.

It's not an admission that they lied, but it does present a clear motive to lie.

Man, I love how they scream to investigate ALL 22 or 25 or 30 women who have accused Trump (despite most of these allegations being bunk at this point), but are totally fine with Biden just saying "No, I didn.. di..did not do these things."

They keep pushing this stuff in an attempt to say "Well Trump is twenty-two to twenty-five times the rapist Biden is so you're still worse if you vote for Trump!"

The difference being, of course, that I'd guess 99.9% of Trump's voters think the accusations against him are bullshit. Whereas it's looking more and more like the vast majority of Biden's voters believe he did it but are eager to vote for him anyway. Pretty much all of the rest were the ones who were saying "Even an accusation is too much" and "Believe all women" when it was Trump and Kavanaugh, so even if they don't believe Reade they're supposed to and are going to vote for the man she accused anyway.

Seems to me the only ones voting for someone they think is a rapist are registered Democrats.

Which Trump accuser's mother called into Larry King's show in 1993? Which Trump accuser filed a criminal complaint? Which Trump accuser even stuck around after their media pay day? Did Biden's accuser go on CNN and make themselves look like an absolute nutjob before they hit on Anderson Cooper and called rape hot?

See the difference between the absolutely not credible Trump accusers and the actually credible Biden accuser is well Reade is actually credible.

Now I still do not think you can say Biden is guilty without a trial...at least not of this action.

However there is plenty of video of him being incredibly creepy with the hair sniffing and inappropriate with children. That should matter to the left but Dems seem to have no problem with rapists and pedophiles. Just ask the Clintons.

And going into Kavanaugh for a moment:

Ford was discredited. The media has done an admirable job of burying that fact but she named one corroborating witness. That witness stated the event never happened that completely discredits the already incredibly vague accusation made by Ford. Where did it happen? Don't know! How did you get there? Don't know! How did you get home? Don't know! The Avenatti bunch were all discredited. Instead of being charged with perjury Ford was given a seven figure payday.
