I have to apply the same standard as I did with the Kavenaugh case and ask why Tara Reade didn't come forward years ago and waits until now. Not saying her story isn't true, but that's what I asked with Ford so that's what I must ask now. Epic hypocrisy of the Dems aside, what does KF think of the actual facts of this? Did he do it or not?
Personal opinion, it seems very possible Biden did do it. Unless Tara and her mother have been planning this out for 30 years, with phone calls to TV programs (which, whoops, just so happened to become unavailable once people started pointing it out, funny that) and were just biding (heh) their time.
All the photos, videos and whatnots of Biden getting touchy-feely with women and girls in public events, in plain view, in front of cameras don't exactly help ol' Uncle Joe's image either.
That being said, I agree with you. It was 30 years ago, longer than some people in my family have even been alive. There is no way to properly conduct an investigation into something so long after it happened. All the evidence is long gone and it will boil down to an endless "he said, she said". If if did happen I feel bad for Tara, but I also do think she used the accusation specifically to damage Joe rather than because she wanted "justice". I don't believe she would have had this sudden urge to reveal that Joe Biden raped her had he not become the nominee, it's just too convenient.

tl;dr: I do think it happened, but the timing of Tara's accusation is way too convenient for it to not have been motivated by Biden becoming the nominee.
But let's be honest, whether Biden did or did not rape Tara is irrelevant to pretty much everyone at this point. It has become extremely politicized for people to have a neutral view on it, so don't expect it to become anything less that a shitshow regardless of what happens. Well, that and the display of hypocrisy on how accusations are handled depending on which letter comes after the accused's name.
