The topic of what happens to FTMs that infiltrate gay spaces comes up from time to time.
So let's meet Nathan:

I am at a loss as to why women would want to participate in gay leather culture, though. It's pretty ruthless in a lot of ways, not least when it comes to partner selection.

Anecdotal, but every SJW I knew IRL had passive and superficially doting, but ultimately neglectful parents. Usually divorced, too busy with boyfriends/girlfriends/WoW to pay much attention. Threw cheap-ish toys and electronics at the proto-troon, etc. Few were anywhere near upper-middle class or rich kids. Minimal effort all around.
Rich kids have nannies, expensive tutors, and extreme peer pressure to keep 'em in line, spoiled or not; these mediocre, middle-of-the-road Hayleighs have nothing but Mommy's complacency and Tumblr. What I'm getting at is, you need discipline, but you also need someone to give a shit. It's that precious mix of shame and love, baby.

It's mostly internalized misogyny. They think that if they become a man, they'll be on equal standing in a relationship with a man, as opposed to being a woman and being perceived by society as the weaker one. Never mind the fact that gay men are notorious for being bad partners and bad at relationships in general.

Rhetorical question from my side, but I tend to agree with that. IDK, I'm a big softie when it comes to this shit and it breaks my heart to see these girls do this to themselves. Statistically, lesbians are worse since they are more prone to violence and abuse than gay men.
I don't get either why lesbian women transition to become straight men since by their deranged scales, they are the bane of all that is good in this world. But also because it ends up with fucking themselves up without knowing it.
Long time ago (very long) met this lesbian chick who was kinda punk and a fairly decent artist. We lost contact but years later i saw some really freakish person being shared for their nuclear takes on social media. It was thish chick who i recognized, apparently she was in the process of transitioning. She had skin thinner than smoking paper and was constantly complaining why she was rejected by lesbians for looking masculine, how uncomfortable it was to have a "prostetic penis" and how her coworkers asked if she was really going through with transitioning.
Two years later found her again by chance and she was a total wreck. Her biggest gripe was the fact that straight women rejected her for being a woman and lesbian women rejected her for being too masculine. That along with a myriad of obvious problems (pronouns, money, pushing away her family and friends) indicated that she was probably at the end of her rope.

And that's how that goes, really. That person started out as a woman, attracted to men. Transitioning didn't change the second part of that statement at all. Leather subculture is cartoonishly hypermasculine, so if you're trying really hard to affirm you're a man it's a great place to start.
He might get some violently negative reactions when the folks who didn't inject their testosterone find out what's between his legs, of course...

I think - obviously, except for sexual abuse - it usually mirrors the typical MTF motivations. They're either confused, self-hating lesbians, fetishists, or they think the other gender lives life "on easy mode". This last one might play into extreme internalized misogyny, but not necessarily IMO.

Thinking the other gender lives life on "easy mode" is really common among MTF. Not because of misogyny, but because they don't actually have to live as women. They're lacking many of the challenges.
If I had a penny for every time I've seen MTFs saying that they wish they had periods and whatnot, while natal women went "ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE?! WHY WOULD YOU WANT THAT?!", I could order a nice Five Guys burger with a large fries on the side. And if I had a penny for every time I've seen a FTM bragging about how life is so much easier for them now, I could add a large coke to that order.
Oh, and if we're counting all the times MTFs mention how easy it is to do something that's stereotypically difficult for women to do (let's say, open pickle jars), then we can start saving up for tomorrow's lunch.

I would be happy to architect a work camp for troons and other incels. This camp would be located in a warm climate and would involve 14 hours a day of dirty manual labor beneath the sun. Landscaping, roofing, etc. 8 hours would be for sleep and 15 minutes x 3 to wolf down high calorie high protein meals and the other fifteen minutes to occasionally grab water and some carbs. 1 hour a day to read paper books, think, meditate, or add to your sleep if you want. No internet, no electronic devices, though no one would have time or energy for them anyway. We labor. We get back to basics. If we feel bad we rub some dirt in it.
90 days of this would cure most of them. A system reset. Highly recommend that in the laborer’s absence his family clear the detritus from his life, ie delete all social media, delete any porn he has stashed, and ensure he returns home to a clean fresh new start.
I get the feeling that nobody’s daddy is making them do yard work anymore and so here we are. A boy needs to be set to his labors. He needs yard work. He needs to get dirty and follow his dad around and obey orders and learn shit. No wonder troons and other incels are at such loose ends, they don’t know how to DO anything. Because there was never any yard work and yard work is the foundation upon which a young male begins the journey toward competence. We have taken what should be strong working breeds and turned them into gigantic useless toy breeds that AREN’T EVEN CUTE ffs.
