...Instead of some asshole parental/educational figure abusing the helpless kiddies (AKA Enter's parents and teachers abusing him), its the other way around. To him, it's the formally helpless kiddies abusing the formally asshole parental/educational adults (AKA Enter rising up against his parents and teachers).

What he doesn't realize is that, to everyone else reading his book or his scripts (or the potential audience of people watching a Growing Around cartoon, God forbid), this also swaps who is historically helpless and who is the historical asshole. So, to most people, it's a bunch of asshole parental/educational kiddies abusing the helpless adults. In effect, he made an army of Peters/SpongeBobs/Buck Clucks rule over a population of Megward the Wizards, instead of the Megward the Wizards ruling over the Peters/SpongeBobs/Buck Clucks.

This is because Enter is autistic and can't project himself into the shoes of another (without the conscious effort to do so). It is not intuitive to him that to an outside observer, the kids have always been in charge in this setting he's created, and thus the punishments they inflict on adults (who are historically the characters abusive to children in the media Enter consumes/consumed, be it Chicken Little or whatever) are not just retribution for a history of being the butts of jokes, but rather cruel and unusual punishment that is entirely unjustified. There was never a moment where the adults abused the kids in the setting, but there are plenty of moments where kids abuse adults. The odd bit of Enter's questionable sexuality seeping into this puts it in an even uglier light, and once more, the setting collapses entirely without the supporting embrace of Enter's own worldview to seal the innumerable cracks in its fundamentals and to isolate it from any outside dissenting thoughts or concepts.

All Enter really did was put the abused and abuser characters in different skins and then attempt to justify it with his hatred of both adulthood and adults by flipping the script entirely, utterly ignoring the logistical efforts that go into worldbuilding when the tone is meant to be at least somewhat serious, as Enter clearly intends GA to be. He did nothing more creative than telling the animators to swap Peter and Meg Griffin's appearances, but kept everything else the same, but somehow he expects us to root for the "Peter" because they wear the flesh of an abused person.

Most of his complaints in that video boil down to "The premise would work if they did it in X super-specific way with Y super-specific context, but because they didn't write it the way I would write it, they're wrong." Fuck, Shane wears bunny pajamas in Growing Around, so Enter's definitely out to fix this story already. With everything that's gone down, he clearly subscribes to the mentality of "There are no bad ideas; only bad executions." But the ideas that he's trying to execute are so spiteful and self-destructive that the only way to fix them is to remove the entire "revenge" angle that drove him to write to begin with. I never got why he's so hell-bent on "fixing" bad stories either. Flip-Flopped wasn't even a good concept, yet he insisted it was and now we have the glorious trainwreck that is Growing Around.
