I went to a random part of the audio and he's complaining about Youtube not doing anything against "hurtful" videos about him. Fucking wow.
Also bonus points for shitting on ReviewTechUSA and praising Quartering.

And then goes on pre-stream (posted above) and shits on the quartering. lmao! :story:

For people who don't know how unemployment works, you have to apply for jobs to get gibs. This means DSP went months with a finance degree unable to get a job, probably because he left every job he'd ever had on bad terms and had bad references.
That's not entirely true. Yes, you're supposed to be applying for jobs, and keeping a log of where you've applied to. You may or may not ever be asked to provide those records. There are a lot of people that make no real effort to find work in hopes of sucking up the unemployment money for as long as possible, and many of them get away with it. I guess this may vary from state to state, though.
The scenario you mentioned is certainly possible, but it's also possible that Phil planned to lay around the house and get unemployment bucks until his dad realized he was making no effort to find work, and basically forced him to get a job where he worked.

It is technically a requirement, but I'm thinking with Corona-chan lockdowns it's one they won't be enforcing for a while.

Right now, they're still slammed with people just trying to apply. I don't think they are going to "waste the time" performing audits.

I didn't mean to imply it isn't a requirement. However, it's a requirement that may or may not ever be checked up on. Even in the pre-Corona days, audits occurred a lot less often than you might think.
With Phil's luck, I can imagine him getting every red cent he could have out of unemployment without ever being audited.

I honestly think DSP's physical body has wasted away from years of self-isolation 6 days per week that he couldn't actually work a retail job if he wanted to.

I don't think DSP could stand on his feet for 20 hours/week and do Kat's job even with breaks. He almost couldn't do a cashier's job. Heck, he might not be able to do it if they provided him a stool to sit on; that's how out of shape he is.

It's almost like DSP needs to go to physical therapy because his body has atrophied on him that badly. Hell, IF (and a big IF) his stories about the "bad back" are true, he should have been going to P.T. 4-5 years ago when he was making "peak Youtube money." Imagine being an early 30s guy making $250K/year with a bad back and saying "this is fine; no need to treat this! The Seattle air will cure it somehow!"

You can get in great shape in a month or 2 of hard physical training.

The tougher part is that he's been inactive for 15 years easy. So the mental hurdle of him actually getting started..... then going through the pain... and keeping it up until he starts seeing results is the hardest part.

It's why he hasn't sold the house etc, you just get too used to your environment. Research dopamine triggers on youtube.

I think Phil's deep fear of change also plays into his reluctance to make any kind of meaningful decision. He has to be dragged to make any kind of change, usually at the point where its really too late. Using direct capture is a great example of this. Phil bitched and moaned about using it until he made the switch at a point where the novelty was gone and it was just the norm. He also gives up very easily on changes that don't work out perfectly for whatever reason. Look at his discarded greenscreen, reluctance to play PC games. or his "DSP tries it" vids. All because the fear of being laughed at makes his reality of rotting away on his gaymer throne preferable to actually trying to better his life.

He actually got better views and appreciation for his reviews, but because it wasn't "good enough" for the effort he used he stopped them, despite the fact that he got far less mockery for them and in fact actually on average got better views. He's just autistic and lazy.

Remember his Cup Noodles review? He could have just laughed it off and continued on, maybe even make a running joke out of it. It could have been a successful little side project. But since it wasn't both successful and making people want to worship him as a gigachad, he stopped doing them. I honestly think if he didn't care about being mocked he would be far more successful than being the desperate findom streamer he has become. I overall agree with your point that his laziness is the root of his problem though.

Yeah this is also a good point about his likely inability to find a job. Of course, for any normal person, it is possible to get in shape enough to stand for several hours at a low paying job. That's about as low an health goal as you can get but this is DSP we're talking about and obviously he's mentally incapable of making a change that large such as exercising for one hour a day. He says that he barely has enough time to cook a meal between streams (that break as most of you know is ~2.5 hours). He's just too busy to exercise dood!

If it doesn't make instant money it's trash. That's the DSP way. He wants everything he does to have instant effect, and sometimes he gets lucky and he finds it in some exceptional things like the vest

DSP would be fired 2 hours into his first shift after he takes a bathroom break an hour in and doesn't come back to the register for 45 minutes.

Second part
DSP on streaming During Lockdown. Its not like ANYTHING changed...

The guy burps at 14sec.

DSPs mic quality is awful. IS that the superexpensive gaming headset I guess?
His mic quality is awful because he hasnt updated his audio drivers in 5 years or his windows operating system in 7 years
just like his interview with the quartering

for the amount of times this guy says professional you'd think he could atleast go out of his way to put some effort into his job, fat slob

Can't stand for too long, can't bend over to stock shelves or whatever the fuck, can't see for shit, can't carry anything because of his bad back. His back is bad to the extent that he has to take advantage of other people to drive him places or assist him with basic shit. He is 38 going on 55 and completely useless on the job market. Has no skills or knowledge of anything, no relevant or meaningful employment or education, and a rabbit hole that never ends when you look him up online.

So he's not good for physical activity, has no social skills and an ego too big to work a "shitty job".

DarksydePhil will never get employed.
