It's killing me that they think all this shit about Biden isn't going to matter or something, even my gf who can't stand Trump is completely disgusted by the fact that the Democrats are rallying behind a creepy pedo-acting probable rapist. I think her exact words were "you know what? Anyone who votes for Biden is a pedophile, how about that?" She's just not going to vote because she won't vote Trump either, and I get the feeling that's going to be a common feeling among the more left leaning people in this country.

I’ve seen the clip and from what it sounds like, Trump is just suggesting that maybe there’s a way we can apply the UV light treatment through injections and is just using the term disinfectant in a vague way to describe cleaning the body of the virus.

TDS, from what I can tell the general pull from the populace is exactly what you got. Hell, my anti-trumper mother was like "I don't get it", which is my big indicator of how "normal people" reacted to it.

Articles like this make me think about all these papers pleas for funding so they can keep putting out "quality journalism" and laugh.
What gets me is just the sheer hypocrisy of it all, with how they rally against Trump at even the vaguest chance of a sexual assault case and then bend over backwards to discredit any allegations against Biden. They go on about how it's all a russian conspiracy or whatever else they can think of. It shows quite clearly that for all their talk about being allies to women and "enough is enough" with powerful people using their position, all of it gets thrown to the side when it's someone on "their" side. They are literally hurting their own movement with their showing of extreme hostility towards women coming forward with their stories because it's against the "wrong" people.

I think it’s because when Trump worded things, he said there should be a disinfectant used to combat the virus. The media/Twitter immediately jumped to conclusions that he meant using Tide Pods and Clorox injected into the body, because that was the word association they had with “disinfectant”. Trump could have worded it a bit better, but considering he was on the spot and trying to explain a medical procedure (without a medial background) it was bound to happen. The media is being far more exceptional about this by not bothering to gather the full context, but that’s to be expected.

It's not that they won't go look for the context, they refuse because they know it would vindicate him. THAT'S what's killing media credibility. People can see the lies-by-omissions and know exactly why those gaps in the story are there. Not because the reporters forgot to put them in, or were too lazy/too rushed to do it, they simply didn't WANT to because then they couldn't bash Trump.

I tried explaining it to some, but they disregard it. Many of my old friends were pretty much theatre nerds. When Trump happened, it seems like many went off the deep end into SJW madness and Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Read a few pages back he was refering to uv light therapy and a procedure that literally put UV lights in your lungs for a short period of time, it's technically a type of injection and the UV lights are a disinfectant so he didn't mispeak it's just the pro science 196 IQ rick and morty watching astrophysicists on twitter, and the TES thread, think the only type of disinfectants that exist are chemical in nature and any procedure that takes blood out of the body is blood letting. I mean if anything it's made me want trump to describe what Chemo is to see if we can get people to try and ban it.
If the TDS thread should prove anything it's that most affected with the disease are masters at stretching so taking a man who literally mentioned that he was talking about UV light treatment and that had a doctor on to clarify, must mean he actually meant bleach. The only thing they have is that the man walked back his statement as sarcastic but considering that the media was telling people that he said drink bleach and it wasn't going to let up, he had to.
Honestly it's why the left wants to ban or not play the press conferance literally all you have to do is tell people to watch the press conference to prove the articles wrong. The only people who still peddle the bleach are either happy that they get to resurrect an old meme or are have such a sever case of TDS that if they admited they were wrong about Trump they may actually die.
