Animal Crossing: New Horizons - It's hard to convince people that I'm not a furry after telling them I like Animal Crossing.

Someone made a crossover of two of my favorite things, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Animal Crossing.

Cringe ass nae nae @Jellyfish came to my island to drop off some flowers. While they were talking to my villagers, Tangy mentioned how she loves the oranges on my island because of how tasty they are. Bitch, you're also an orange, that's cannibalism.

This is good advice if you see an extra 7,000 bells wandering around in an evening. (Incidentally, you actually have a surprisingly long amount of time after it rears up to keep walking forward without an attack, cutting down on the number of stop-starts if you're brave.)

If you've managed to force a pseudo-tarantula island and you've got them spawning every couple minutes, you'll fill your inventory faster by Dark Souls-ing it and learning their attack pattern.
They straight up don't attack until you're within catching range, pay no mind to the rearing and hissing, just keep walking at them.

I tried to do the tarantula island thing last night and got... mixed results. Tarantulas did show up, but I only managed to net 2 of them and the other 10 made me faint. I did try making a hole barrier, but couldn’t get my character to jump over them to safely fast enough. I downsized the holes to just 4 in a diamond pattern, but as soon as I jumped in a fucking tarantula somehow got inside and bit me.

Any tips on how to catch these things? I really only got lucky with the 2 I got (snuck up behind one, the other was because my reflexes were fast enough to net it right as it jumped at me). Does the hole trick work and I’m just doing it wrong?

If you can't get the hang of sneaking up on them or rushing them, there's a trick video I saw on Twitter. Haven't tried it myself yet, but I saw video of it working. Tarantulas can't attack when your phone or camera is up, and you can move when the camera is up. Make a box of holes at least 5 holes by 5 holes, aggro the Tarantula/Scorpion to kite it near the box, then bring up the camera to jump into the box. Time-consuming, but consistent.

EDIT: I'm dumb and should check shit. They can still chase you, but can't bite, so you use it to kite them into a hole obstacle.

The best part of the new update I found by accident. In the designer app, when copying a part of the clothing it now gives you an option to copy and flip.

Thank fuck.

Got to a free island and sold for 581.
Goddamn even when I get a spike it is a fraction of that size.

What a wonderful capitalism sim Animal Crossing is. I get nearly 300% profits on my Turnips this week with some free flowers from some generous Kiwis and I am still jealous of higher returns.

Nothing is ever "enough" even if this week has served to pay off the last of my nookdebt.

So, are large star fragments one of the rarest resources in this game? I spent a good couple hours shooting star hunting at another island last night and despite getting dozens of fragments this morning, not a single one was large. Same story for every other time I did some stargazing (at least 3-4 separate occasions).
