At least term limits would allow the elected public servants to stop leveraging too much power over others. Part of the reason Nancy has so much money is because she’s able to get money from lobbyists to push for things in Congress. Term limits would give lobbyists less power too (provided past officials that wanted to become lobbyists had a waiting period of a few years before qualifying).
