Animal Crossing: New Horizons - It's hard to convince people that I'm not a furry after telling them I like Animal Crossing.

There's no worse feeling than getting everything set up, all the buildings moved, thinking you've measured everything perfectly, only to find out after everything's been set in place that you needed to be just one square farther apart. Fuck my life. Just gonna roll with it at this point though, too many houses to move...
I was so deep into my town, only logging in to make 50k bells and move another house, and once I realized this, I quit. I've since started a new town, also to avoid using custom textures and just use pathing, and hope for actual good villagers.. But still. The moving bullshit is atrocious. It should just give you some digital preview.

The loss of sakura floorings and such is a bit of a bother, but I guess once I've "completed" the game I can just time skip around as need be. Doubt I'll keep the interest that long though, for some reason it plummeted once I did complete it the first time, well-aware I'd have no friends visiting and only doing all this for myself, which rarely feels rewarding.

All I’m doing is waiting for my spare judge bell to mail tomorrow, and my fighting arena will be complete. Might try and add barbed wise fencing if it comes on the Miles Shopping again. Just gotta figure out what to do with my last two “big” sections of open land. I want to try and be creative with it like I did with the outdoor movie theater.

I'm trying to get my island rating up so I can get K.K. Slider and unlock terraforming (I'm really behind other people, I know). So far my island is only 1 star. I've weeded and put out outdoor decorations (although they're kind of haphazard right now because I don't have the space to make cute arrangements). I also found this article with some tips that I'm trying to follow. Is there anything else I can do to unlock K.K. quicker? What did you guys do?
I honestly have no idea. When I had villager number 10 moved in Nook wasn't saying anything so I talked to him, he said talked to Isabelle, and one conversation with Isabelle later K.K. Slider was coming to visit. That was Friday, April 10th.

If it helps, I planted flowers around houses and elsewhere, and have furniture all over the place. Anything outdoorsy that I liked, and a lot of it is stuff I got from balloons.
Imperial:
Dining Lantern
Partition
Dining Chair
Bed
I have the bed, but I'm willing to send a low table and decorative shelves in exchange for one of the other three.

I sure hope whatever this is lets you store flowers.

Data miners spilling on possible new features. Direct link as it won't let me archive it.

These updates sound awesome! I was missing being able to collect art and go out into the ocean in a wetsuit like you could in New Leaf. In general it seems like they’re going to be patching in most things that were in New Leaf but are missing here. Hopefully these updates come sooner rather than later.

And that's the second time in a row I have a villager I want to stay (and lavish attention to on a daily basis) debate moving out, instead of the several other villagers who I've been giving the silent treatment for weeks now. Fucking hell game.

The silver lining is at least the "cycle" is up again at all, it's been a long while since I've had anyone thinking of leaving. That and the first time around it was only a couple days after the first villager thought about leaving that one I actually wanted off the island asked the same question so, fingers crossed.

I wish you could build gates. I put a fence up around my house, and I'm now constantly finding villagers loafing around in my yard. I installed a pond recently which has made things worse - now they come there to fish. I built an even bigger fuck off pond on the other side of town, but nope, they decide they want to fish in my piddly little one which never spawns fish and which I only built so I had somewhere to put my plastic flamingo.

GET OFF MY LAWN!!!

This is huge. The lack of certain features (art, diving, etc) has put me on the fence about buying the game. However, it seems as though some of the missing content is returning via gradual updates, which is really nice. Hopefully they don't lock it behind DLC, though given the trend with the Holiday updates it seems a bit unlikely.
I hope they re-add fortune telling, the cafe, Dr. Shrunk, and the missing amiibo villagers (the Sanrio, Zelda, and Splatoon ones) soon. Maybe they could even add more of the latter?

Returning the favour: I have Celeste over tonight. GCVV1. Right now it's only 8 PM my time and I have no idea if/when meteor showers happen, but come on over if anyone wants Celeste recipes.

EDIT: closed now

Alright, after seeing her design and finding out there are approximately 1,478 potential villagers, does anyone have/know of a reliable way to get Coco? I've read things about this amiibo stuff but I have no idea how that works.

First, you need the given villager's amiibo card (which, good luck getting a specific one without paying an arm and a leg at this point considering the demand). Then you invite them by scanning the card through the ATM, and they'll appear at the campsite. Then, over the course of 3 days, you need to talk to them and craft items for them to slowly convince them to move in. If your town is at full capacity, you can manually choose who gets replaced by them (this is distinct from random campsite visitors, who choose a villager at random to take the place of).

Or just buy the fake amiibo tickets and pre-program then to have Coco
