Ugh. Im extremely lucky to both be young enough to live with my parents and have a dad that runs a small essential business. I feel terrible for the people that are trying to feed their kids on a slowly dwindling budget. I don’t know the exact percentage of people living check to check, but its not going to be pretty if the quarantine goes on for much longer.

I want to go back to @Gingervitis screencap and say that that sort of thinking is obviously dangerous and disingenuous at best. If that's your opinion then ok. I dont believe in it but whatever. You're allowed to have it. Where the problem lies is that someone touting it as a factual thing and lumping people within that same bubble. If you know people who act like that then cool. @TowinKarz put it best like he always does so i don't want to parrot what he typed out but I will say this:
I used to think like that and look down at anyone that wasnt left leaning with contempt until I was placed in that situation. That situation being, poor/no income, shitty job ops, the feeling like said left leaning people dont care because no degree. Essentially the inflated elitism and holier than thought bullshit the modern left has now. The same shit I had myself. When you're put into a situation that you csnt control you start to gain respect for people in that same situation and people in the same dire straits as you are. I see why people voted for trump and why labor is more conservative or right leaning now. I dont see however people who are in the same situation remain tethered by the balls to the democratic bullshit pandering even though it's so transparent. Not saying it'll change your political leanings but it's a thing that should wake you up to what's going on. But if Bernie bros can get duped twice with the same scam then hmm.
