Working class guy here, I like Trump because he's the biggest, loudest, most amazing middle finger to the coastal elites to have ran for office. SO yeah, he's most likely flaunting his degree and the fact he's never held a "simpleton's" job as proof of his superiority, not making an honest observation.

But, again, even if he was, what exact moral defect is evidenced by being a general laborer without an MBA? Isn't that the kind of person the Democrats, for years, have said they want to be the champions of?

The value of the Yuan fluctuates to benefit the Chinese, not to benefit any of the nations caught in the Chinese debt trap. Which is what so-called Chinese altruism is: it's a debt trap that when sprung costs you your nation's ports for 99 years if you're lucky.

If the United States collapses, everyone is going to have a big fucking problem on their hands. If China collapses, we go through a few rough months as we retool factories and divert supply lines. Do you recognize that the absence of piracy is one of the benefits of American power. That is literal piracy by the way. Ships and guns and yarr and all that crap. There are reasons why it doesn't happen on a grand scale anymore and that reason is the United States Navy, not the People's Liberation Army Navy. The Chinese have no interest in stopping piracy for your benefit, only for their benefit. Meanwhile the United States has continued an effort started by the British Empire that creates a situation whereby all nations can grow and prosper and all you have to do is play ball just a little bit. You don't even need to adopt our system or invite us in the play with you, you just have to not be a leech. And not all of them are parasitic leeches in response to that. In fact only one of them seems to be an advantageous parasite in any meaningful way and that nation is China.

Thankfully the United States is not on the verge of collapse and all the institutional structures that you hand wave off in the last part of your post are exactly what helps to keep the American system together.

Lobbying isn't inherently bad and has a ton of benefits outside of the narrow section of lobbying that is done by corrupt shitbags. Debates in Congress are a feature, not a bug. Protesting, lawsuits and due process, political campaigning, and "et cetera" are all vital to the function of a free democratic society. What the blazes are you saying?

The problem is no one likes or trusts China. No one likes the US, but they trust us. (Now, trust is a sliding scale, as international politics is prison yard rules) The Yuan is artifically manipulated, everyone knows it, and its why no one uses.

China is doing a good job of taking advantage of their manipulated economy & free prison camp labor to run roughshod over corrupt third-world countries, with an eye on long-term advantage - their internal public opinion doesn't give a fuck about racism, so if a report did come out about they were economically abusing some poor niggers, the response would a resounding "so? who cares? How does this affect the price of tea in China ground tiger penis?"
Chinese companies also have been doing a good job of making the appropriate payoffs and staying out of big players' turf-this has caused them to get ceded rights by the other players.
tl;dr "Well, no one in your country gives a shit if your mines maim 50 niggers a day, so we'll let you have the mineral rights, and we buy from you for less than the PR campaign would cost us"

This is sliiiightly incorrect. What you are looking for is "Piracy you give a shit about and/or has an effect on you". The Straits of Mallacca upto the south china is the #1 piracy hotspot (doing something like 10x the piracy during the 'crisis' off Somalia), and it is largely done with the cooperation of the PLA navy. But its all Asia-Asia, Asia-Africa, or Asia-Europe runs, so no one pays any attention.

Quick background: In the world of international shipping, lots of times ships are rented or leased. A ship might complete a haul and change operational ownership, with a new crew ready to on board as soon as it docks - or they might keep the crew. It varies. Anyway, a cargo ship is a tens-of-millions of dollars investment, and closely watched.

In the Mallacca/SCS area, there are cases of a ship being taken by pirates, but the ship itself makes its port call for change over on schedule - because if it didn't, people would be asking a LOT of questions. Sometimes with the original crew never being located.
(But there are cases of guys being declared legally dead turning up on freighters. The sea is a fucked up place)
