Call me a haydur but visiting a recovering cancer patient during a pandemic, even before official guidelines were put in place, seems unnecessarily risky and stupid. Becky is the one making all the shopping trips, touching all the bullshit, bringing it home, and then they both go visit Norma? Did she forget Facetime exists, or is that reserved for ten-minute content bombs with Destiny?

becky, maybe, but i don't think anyone really neeeeds a reeking, leaking, quarter-ton shrieking woman around.
if becky not being able to visit her (hateful, lying) mother for a while is that heartbreaking to watch i can't imagine how sad amber will be knowing she gave her future MIL the 'rona from this absolutely necessary visit. if this was 6 weeks ago the odds are good that rickie had already been exposed at work and was exposing the household to it as well.

She might feel more confident with Snapchat filters and stupid faces but people who genuinely think they're ugly don't post pictures of themselves on social media at all, let alone at the rate she does. I love how one major facet of her narcissism is trying to convince everybody that she thinks she's revolting while at the same time recording her disgusting physical form for a living with no trouble. And also the endless sperging about how she cries over everything that is even mildly touching or sad- yes Amber, we know it's a TV trope for women to cry at ASPCA commercials when they're menstruating but you cannot hide your shelf-assed ego and lack of emotional intelligence behind such a flimsy excuse. Amber is convinced she is a master manipulator but her skills are more akin to those of the idiots from To Catch A Predator than those of Bernie Madoff.

Even if Kentucky was still allowing gatherings of 8 or less at the time of their visit with Norma, I’m sure everyone who was older or immune compromised was being told to stay home & away from others. That’s one of the things that’s been repeated for months now everywhere so that “they were allowing 8 or less people” still a crap excuse to go visit Becky’s mom.
