I guess no one told him that Disney makes all their money catering to outside markets like China at this point, and those cut-able lines are for the US market. Also kinda hilarious to me that he turns around and claims Disney does better in its tv line up when Disney just got blowback for pulling “Love, Simon” or whatever off Disney+ plus because it didn’t gel with their family friendly brand like The Simpsons and some of the other decidely un-kid friendly throwback films on their roster.

Warning: late comment

I live in Puerto Rico. That means that we normally get Spanish-language dubs and subs of English-language films. This time, I watched the Spanish-subbed English-dubbed film in the atre.
In the respective scene, I could hear the lesbian police mention 'my girlfriend's daughter', though the subtitles aid 'my daughter'.
Taking into account how heavy Catholicism is in Latin America, I can see why this change has been made.

Then again, given how that scene made some countries ban the film, I wonder why Disney bothers with being easily censorable.

It’s probably just the marketing and nostalgia factor that’s kind of similar to Disney (People having fond memories of the company from their childhood) but lolcows as well as those on the autistic spectrum get suprsingly obsessed with McDonald’s more than any other fast food place.

It is not actually. It's acceptable to create custom designs of other franchises in Animal Crossing since the last game that had it (can't remember if it was New Leaf or not.)

Yeah, you’re encouraged to recreate and make stuff in the game.

Autistic people usually have a childlike mentality, which leads to them being incredibly obsessive over things from their childhood. They can't comprehend that life was better because they were a kid with no responsibilities, and now they're an adult and other people expect them to act like it, no, things were just DIFFERENT when they were a kid. Anything that reminds them of when they were a kid is like a security blanket for them.
As for autistic people and McDix, it's 100% down to their Ronald McDonald world marketing. Autistic people are more likely to form parasocial bonds, especially with fictional characters, and McDonalds mixed those with food, which tends to be another comfort item, even for non autistic people.
