You know what makes this better? My wife is watching it right now, and the reveal is the exact same thing!
The reveal is she got a new bird (she's known for being a bird lover, and her mascot of sorts is her bird.), but, again, charity.

His birthday week is one of many reasons I find Phil fascinating. He makes his birthday all about himself. He isn't celebrating to thank his fans, or to entertain them - he's celebrating so that his fans can thank him. A children's birthday party is all about the birthday boy/girl, but the party itself is designed so that everybody has fun. I imagine Phil's birthday partys were the sort of partys where his parents let him win all of the games because it's his special day,
