RIP to one of my cats who unexpectedly died last night. She was 8 1/2 years old. I feel so horrible because I was out of town, and couldn't be with her one last time... It sucks so much, because she was the one who always comforted me when I was upset. This year has just been fucking terrible.

Is it bad that my fondest memories of him is Will Sasso doing "Kenny Roger's Jackass" on MADtv?
Not that I didn't like his music, but I'm not enough of a Boomer to have ever been a fan.

As a child, his "Islands in the Stream" with Dolly Parton was constantly on the radio every morning when my mom drove me to school.
EDIT: Reminded my town had one of his "Kenny Rogers Roasters" restaurants but I never went before it closed pretty quickly.

It's amazing how many American IP's end up thriving in other countries these days, like Mister Donut in Japan, Shakey's Pizza in The Philippines or ChiChi's in Belgium.
Must've been popular if they could get five movies out of Kenny's song like that.
