Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿
The state I work in has a State of Emergency active now, so I’m at home pushing emails around. I’m already sick and tired of the panic over this disease, it’s a bad flu with no vaccine I understand, but there is no way to get news without getting blasted by reporters who are one trip to hobby lobby for poster board away from being doomsday street vagrants.
What I admit I really want to see is Biden get wheeled into a debate on a furniture dolly with an IV drip and a thermos of Vicodin. The Chinese coof is becoming the new Mueller probe with dreary news saturation I admit.
It would be really fucking nice if these short-bus-riding lunatics could pick whether or not the economy is Trump's or Obama's because this constant whipping back-and-forth between the two is starting to make me fucking dizzy.
I'm guessing Corona-Chan isn't hurting Teflon Don's poll figures. The stench of desperation from the Dems and the MSM is palpable all the way down here in Boomerangastan.
Theoretically, if it is an engineered virus (as it most likely is), it's possible that listlessness is an unrecognized symptom of the incubation/infectious stage by design, to actually cause people to feel like they have to leave the house and go out, move around, etc.
It's unlikely, but it is the sort of thing you'd want to include in a viral bioweapon to encourage transmission.

It's unlikely to.
The item pundits miss is that Corona-Chan and the economic disruption is a natural disaster not economic policy. When fucked up shit comes up of nowhere voters look to how it's handled BUT even that is only true if it's over.
During such events (wars, natural disasters ect.) voters historically choose stability and they never choose to add to the instability/chaos by changing governments.
No, I'm saying that during the incubation period (which is also when it's documented as being transmissible just through breathing or mild coughing/sneezing before you actually start to feel truly sick) it might make you feel like you're unsettled and uncomfortable and that you have to get up and move. Listlessness makes people feel like they can't get settled or comfortable, or focus on what they're trying to do... it's easy for that to turn into "I can't stay in the house, I've got to get out and Do Something". So they go shopping, they go to work even if they've been told they need to stay home and self-quarantine, maybe they even take a trip, because they're interpreting a symptom of the virus as being "cabin fever".
Again, theoretically. But, if I were going to make a designer virus certainly one of the earliest symptoms of it I'd include would be something like listlessness to get people out of their homes and moving around. It's caused by chemical reactions in the brain and is a symptom of several other diseases so it's not like it would be impossible to include it by design. The biggest argument against it is that such a thing seems unusually competent for China.
Considering the episode was as much a criticism of security theater as anything, it's definitely relevant to all the posturing about the tests that's going around.
It's unlikely to.

Why would the first thing that a news station would say about a virus is a ploy to "impeach the president?" Never mind that people's health and lives could be at stake, but let's make it so Trump is most affected by it. We need those votes no matter WHAT! I swear news media boomers are so clingy with this man.
You are doing that thing again where you believe some idiot saying a negative thing tangentially related to Trump or Trump supporting individuals without checking it yourself.
Joe Kennedy is a Democrat who is selectively trimming the quote.
What Trish Regan actually said was this:
"The chorus of hate being leveled at the President is reaching a crescendo as Democrats blame him, and only him, for a virus that originated halfway around the world. This is another attempt to impeach the president."
The New York Times was widely mocked on Thursday over an op-ed column that criticized the White House response to the coronavirus outbreak by declaring that the ailment should be referred to as "Trumpvirus."

Outlets like HuffPo and the Guardian are lying by claiming she meant the coronvirus itself was the ploy, knowing people won't read past the headlines:
