If this gets past appeals, Sony is already in, though not as a party. Tammy Denbow is a Sony employee and will most likely be deposed, and Sony's internal communications are open to discovery.
I doubt that Rial or Marchi will be fired until Funimation gets out of the suit.
Letting those idiots go would divide the defense and create hostility between the defendants.
Unless Sony comes in and says otherwise, those two will continue destroying the brand and wrecking the fanbase.
However, once they're given their walking papers, I would be very curious to see what comes out of their mouths.

Nice of Duche to tell that there is an investigation going on on these death threats. It would be a shame if people wouldnt go look for the reports in California, Texas and North Carolina.

Wait so he received a death threat but never opened to see the content of the letter, says the USPS has lead that its from a guy sending death threat but still sent it to him and NOW are asking him to send it back for fingerprint? This shit doesnt add up.

I think someone needs to go undercover at the next convention and ask for a personalised messages from as many VAs involved as possible that says something nice like "[name] Well done on passing your entry exam, [signature]" so we can get a decent comparison.

the "n"s look like half a McDonald's arch
the "u"s are lopsided
the "r"s have an extended arm
the "d"s look like backward 6s, as someone else said
the same inconsistency in capitalising the Y in you/your

This is consistent across 5 letters, so it's a safe bet there's one person behind all of them.

The handwriting on Doucette's envelope looks different, but I think there's too few characters to work with. The stamp seems to be the same as the other one.

People with autism are likely to have bad handwriting

The images that show postal stamps show they're from Florida

Lolcow LLC. is based in Florida

It was Null all along!
You dont even need to do that. Just ask Uncle Google and you will get plenty of examples.

Example Jamie Marchi

If daddy sony has to pay legal fees over this shit, and they conclude it's cheaper to throw the other defendants under the bus, they will throw them under that bus at terminal velocity. Corporations arent in the business of defending their employees names, they're in the business of earning money.

You got a bit mixed up there.
Duche gets a letter and knows that its a death threat w/o opening it. Notifies USPIS about it and they tell him to not open it and send it to them. USPIS starts an investigation and now USPIS have a few leads on who could it be.

Now i look closer at his image he posted you can also see the see through thats its lined paper instead of just printed letter which does make it suspicious. That now makes a bit more sense lol, reading stupid shit when i just wake up with no coffee is bad XD.

It's a Forever stamp, ya zoomer. They all look like that if they were sold in 2018, and pretty much everybody who has bought stamps since February of that year until the next year has them. I have a roll of one hundred of that exact stamp in a drawer, and I'll be using them for the next three years because who the fuck sends letters anymore? The only time you see different stamps is when you see special edition holiday stamps on Christmas cards from your loving boomer relatives.

Most likely late, but I just wanted to throw this out here. Salvaged from a Resident Evil fan group on Facebook. Should we give Dumb Clown Dickless the same benefits of doubt and "innocent until proven guilty" like Vic was (mostly) given, or leave him for dead?

Yes but consider that the nanosecond Sony underbusses them or merely hints at it, both may 'suddenly' recall all manner of sexual shenanigans relating to Funi that involve high level people...thus making Sony either pay them a LOT to go away or a LOT to defend against, at least in PR. Especially now that Weinstien is prison-bound. Perhaps enough to cover their Vic expenses.

So which is more costly?

Vic. his fans have proven they will fight tooth and nail for him and that if he goes down they'll drag the industry with him.... Monica and jaime have proven unable to pull the same numbers. numbers that are kind of terrifying to any manager hoping to make a profit. so if sony wants to burn money, fine. I doubt they do though.

that said, it's a pick their poison situation. they throw them under the bus, monica screeches and metoo's sony. they don't and they alienate a large portion of the anime community, literally eliminating profits.

Unless someone takes that info to sue Sony with, it's not likely to cost them anything but face, moreso if sony employees are completely unrelated to anything a higher up at funi does with sacred lotion.

Either way, it all comes down to if Sony has to get involved of which option will cost more. Defendants shouldnt get their Hope's up that Sony would help that out of the goodness of their heart.

Yeah and at the same time, Vic is the only person that stands in the way of them doing whatever they want and turning every convention into Dragon Con. Him being in a directorial position would have been the end of the depraved VA era at FUNI, so these people pulled out all the stops in trying to bring Vic down with the most insane and idiotic reasons and excuses, like eating a jellybean, hugs and touching peoples hair, they've pretty much showed their hand while several people on ISWV(the honest ones), including Nick have a nuclear option ready for when some idiot in the courts chupps up again.

The only ones they can go nuclear on are their own faction due to the fact Vic is already Vindicated while they still have so many skeletons in their closet that it would fill a mass grave. Like Ty said; Vic has already won.

He should be given the benefit of doubt, but for reasons that will exhaust any and all excuse and defenses he has if he really is guilty. As they say, keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

I guess you're right. As much of a sleazebag the guy is, we should wait for facts and evidence to come out of whatever outcome. Except for the women's bathroom incident, grabbing some con attendee's tits, and pulling a DarkSydePhil in an audition. There's proof of those, though. So fuck him (actually don't, you'll get STDs that way), he's guilty of those, and even worse, he made his own website and tried to explain the background contexts of his degeneracy with the most ass explanations possible. And even worse than that, other degenerates like Amanda Winn-Lee and Renfamous actually defended him for those. Birds of a feather really flock together, huh?
