Slightly off topic, but does anyone remember how quickly VicKicksBack made its initial $100k goal? Less than a month, I think.
Sound Cadence Studios wants to dub the film of The Island Of Giant Insects. No idea if it's a good movie.
They have a kickstarter goal of $83k.

I don't particularly care. I don't have a burning desire to see this movie, and if it gets dubbed, okay. If not, okay. Crowdfunding goals succeed and fail all the time.
I was just imagining how fast this might've made is goal if they announced Vic. I daresay if someone lost their minds and announced Vic with two days left in the goal, it'd make its goal and then some.

Tbh I'm confused and it's possible the appeals court is, too. In context, it really looked like the court set both documents to be filed by MoRon for March 19 since that's what they moved for, filing them at the same time is what they said they intended to do, and the appeals court supposedly granted that motion.
But there it is on the website saying March 10. That's not actually official, but the actual correspondence from the court (albeit back on February 20) says March 10 too.

Reading what these 'anime fans' post makes me want to become an anime hermit that never interacts with the community and enjoy whatever I want in isolation but that feels quite sad. The whole ISWV situation is really making them come out of the woodwork and show how infested the whole community is with them.

I knew nothing about this before seeing the post here. The sample packaging in the campaign agrees with your assessment. The example discs and covers have the heroines in various states of undress. Nothing wrong with that if that's your thing, but I don't expect that this is high quality entertainment to begin with. Really, if they wanted to sell this, they needed to push really hard for the hardcore (Japanese definition) otakus with the campaign because it looks like they're going for Japan disc prices which US casuals aren't going to support.

The manga is literally nothing but fetish fuel. If you're into insect f******, vore, or any combination of the two, then I guess you'd enjoy that. I read maybe the first 8 chapters before jumping ship, so I don't know if it's any "deeper" than that, but I doubt it.
