Can you imagine boldly proclaiming your name is something only an edgy emo child would be proud of? Not to mention, considering that one quick search on the web shows such beautiful archives on what that 'name' is attached to, which includes but is not limited to:

Agreed. CW stands for "content warning", right? Wouldn't a negative experience count as something potentially triggering? Regardless of marginalisation it'd still be common courtesy to put a warning for stuff.

god i feel dumb now not knowing that. mastodons are elephants and they toot with their trunks, it makes sense. i guess that's cute as a concept, but before making the connection i thought tooting = farting (and ergo was a perfect place for steph to hang).
is it common knowledge that mastodons are elephants? it sounded familiar and i figured they were but i had to do a quick google of it to make sure, but i didn't realize the website was named after them. why would you call your social media platform something so obscure?
