I am not a medical expert, but here is my educated guess, that when you implant female reproductive organs into a male and he doesn't die from organ rejection (because of some miracle), he still would not be able to get pregnant much less carry a baby to term.

2. You aren't being oppressed by doctors because they told you to lose weight for surgery, Nathan. You aren't getting a dental implant, you want your genitals chopped up. Being a big fatty increases your risks of a wide variety of complications post-op. Like increased risk of blood clots, infection, heart attack etc. It also makes the surgery itself longer, more difficult, and increases risks of complications when you're under anesthesia. Even Jazz Jennings had to lose 30lbs for surgery, and Jazz had youth, money and fame on their side.

If you have to choose a recipient one factor is how well it will work because we don't want to waste what we do have. A uterus transplant will be far more likely to succeed on any woman than any troon so that would automatically push every man to the bottom of the list.

I'm not sure what it's like in a country without universal healthcare, but that's how it works in Canada. You have to be a viable candidate. If any medical professional actually observed troons for awhile, they'd know the uterus would be better being used as a basketball being shot through hoops.
