Acting like one person or another is guaranteed to win an election is a recipe for disaster. Regardless of where you are politically, you should never assume that your candidate is guaranteed to win. It causes voters on your side to get complacent and, well, not vote.

All of the news sites and polls and shit I've looked at are saying it's too early to tell who might win and by what margin. This is going to be a profoundly weird election. Several states are switches from caucuses to primaries, there's NPVIC going on, it's a census year, and on top of all that, we're living in an extremely polarized political landscape. It's literally impossible to know what's going to happen at this point.

Trump’s biggest enemy right now isn’t Bloomberg or Sanders, it’s the local Democrats who will commit appalling levels of voter fraud. Never forget that they outright stole three Senate seats in 2018; it would have been four but Rick Scott self funded his defense and secured his rightful victory because the RNC was not going to lift a finger for him. We should never forget that the Republicans are the stupid party and there are still a lot of RNC RINOs who look forward to going back to the era of losing with dignity and muh principles.

I think that also led to one of the only times Trump said anything positive about Rubio. Some people will only like you if you stand up to them. And if those people are from NYC standing up means being a huge asshole.

Didn't the RNC actually have a legal agreement preventing them from contesting certain things until 2020?

I cannot wait to see their face if he does get the nomination. I will have much entertainment then. Democrats can still win this election if they weren't so hell bent on fucking over Sanders literally at every turn. And what is more eye opening as time goes on is the number of rich greedy capitalist pigs in the Democratic party. I'm sure they have more at this point than the Republicans. This is a serious party alignment or demographic change going on among the elite.

California, New York, Massachusetts, Illinois, Hawaii and New Jersey is in the bag for any Democratic nominee for president. I see New Mexico going republican before any of the above mentioned.

If democrats want the popular vote shit then republicans should push for two things, make election day a national Federal holiday and make it proportional electoral delegates for the popular vote of each state so all the blue states are up for grabs. And tell the British and western European cunts to fuck off about who we elect or nato gets disbanded, which I am all for anyway.

See my post upthread about voter fraud. TL;DR It's too rare of an occurrence to actually affect elections.

The problem is that neither party is very good at being appealing to moderates, who are the people who ultimately decide the outcome of elections. Instead, the parties are fixating on tending to the interests of people within.

I should start cleaning up my Facebook friends list then again I should delete it sometime in the future. Some person posted this in my feed, basically its about people who vote for Trump and this was posted by a open borders leaning Bernie supporting native american person. I personally don't like echo chambers but if its all about the decorum, like Obama, and nothing about his policies like the drone strikes, then you lost me bud. I guess with the liberal crowd, as long as you observe the "proper" rule of behavior, you can do anything you want. Trump had two choices, be himself and ride against the wave or not be himself and apologize for eternity.

Bloomberg is 78 years old and worth over $60 billion. Wasting money sending flyers to red states barely registers as pocket change to him. The only thing Mike cares about is ensuring the Democrats continue to push globohomo neoliberalism; if that results in some wasted money on flyers, so be it.

Edit: I find it ironic that Bloomberg is so concerned about climate change yet he wastes natural resources printing flyers in places he isn’t going to win that end up in the trash.

No you are absolutely correct. He doesn't even have a plan. There's no way he will get in especially because the black women voters will eviscerate him in South Carolina.

Out of all the people on that stage I'd literally take any of them. I'd sacrifice my soul to Satan for Biden and Bloomberg even. Literally ANYONE but Pete.
 
It's like Bloomberg heard social media helped Trump win and was just like, "OK I'll get some of that then" without understanding a thing (not that what Trump has can be taught, though.)
