he could have handled that differently is all I’m saying. Like he didn‘t have to stick his nose in the comics gate business to begin with and come at Doug. Then when the heat got too much for him he bitched out and turned on people from both sides who supported him. Basically, don‘t chime in on a heated argument and then act like you don't wanna choose sides.

I watched a good chunk of the quarterings stream and christ that guy's a mess. Maybe now EVS knows what its like to have an insufferable faggot with a subscriber count far outnumbering his brain cells bitch and moan about "betraying the movement."
It was bizarre listening to quarterpounder lump in Doug. Maybe Doug cut ties because he figured out what it took quarterpounder's galaxy brain almost another year to figure out.

Actually the video EVS is mentioning in that quote is a stream Quartering did prior levying some criticisms at CG about it dying because some of them are stagnating in youtube views. I don't really know the context much beyond that because he always deletes his streams, but he got pretty mad when EVS livestreamed a response with a clickbait title

So does EVS although I have to say I don't get any of the hub-bub. Like I said in another post, I don't even understand why quarter-pounder even made some politician-esque comment of not being able to support the EWJ kickstarter when I have never heard him even promote a single comic book (not saying that didn't happen, just saying I'm not aware of him doing it). Now he wants to throw a fit because EVS wants to talk about his public tweet and some cursory discussion he might have had in private that's not in any way shape and form malicious or embarrassing to him? I don't get any of these people.

They both do it, yeah, but Quarterpounder's drama-mongering tends to somehow be even more inane and rétarded. At the very least EVS' grade school slapfights tend to be slightly more relevant to his overall goal of selling shit by comparison to Quarterpounder's antics. It doesn't take much to be less of a drama whore than the hamburglar.
I didn't realize he was smart enough to want no part. Good for him.
He'd helped promote EWJ and then denounced when Doug seemed more interested fighting EVS than fighting the people calling fans toxic.
Makes sense from his sperg perspective. CG says its about culture war. But you go on Cecil or Frog's stream and their more interested in fighting against disgruntled nobodies then the people destroying popular culture or whatever. Doug's same place. If your Jeremy and your all about THE culture war, the CG civil war shit isn't what your about.
That faggot gives cross dressers a bad name, they're usually a chill bunch. He also apparently was some major martial artist. Difference between the south or the Rocky Mountains and the midwest. He pulled that shit in Wyoming someone would have just shot his ass.

I can’t see how Hambly’s observations were anything more than stating the obvious, yet even that milquetoast and entirely reasoned criticism caused the comicsgate spergs to immediately go full ‘Branch Davidian’ and Ethan jumped onto a stream to do a ‘react video’ to a stream he hadn’t seen more than a snippet of.
From what I can gather, Hamburgler attributed the stagnation of CG channels growth to the fact that six hour streams, full of deep lore drama and sperging, are utterly impenetrable to any new audience discovering comicsgate for the first time, while the drama is also alienating a decent chunk of the audience that find it all so tiresome, petty and misdirected.
In response, EVS got huffy and suggested that Hambly is just trying to stir controversy for clicks, because for some unknown reason a channel that gets millions of views a month needs to stir up drama with a dying niche movement for views apparently.
His defence against Hambley’s criticism was the rather nebulous suggestion that Hambly as an outsider ‘doesn’t understand the alchemy that is comicsgate’ and stagnating subscriber numbers and falling views on the biggest CG channels don’t indicate a flailing and failing movement because.. reasons.
EVS has been warned on many an occasion that blood-sports will implode the movement, but he's chosen phyrric victory over a bunch of literal nobodies over growth. March will be an interesting month to watch Comicsgate with the launch Rekt Planet.
