The tour funding failed AND there's no meltdown? I'm kind of shocked in both regards.

The tour is funded by LGBT groups inviting her over. The funding is for the book etc. I’m not surprised that didn’t get funding. To try to sell people your book about what a great time you’re having on other people’s dime instead of working is pure egotism.

I’m kind of amazed people still pay for the tours and don’t see through it as she magnanimously invites herself to different countries to talk about the comics she’s not making.

Obviously, the funds raised will mainly go toward the printing of the book, which is estimated to be about 200 pages at the end. I have self-published more than a dozen books already, and estimate the costs to be around 10ca$/unit. I'd like to print at least 1000 of them, so that's why 10,000ca$ (7,500us$) is the minimum.

So what's going to happen to those who chose to receive the book if he gets nowhere near enough money to actually print the dang thing?

I mean I’ve seen worse, although that was from a woke mother being forced to watch kids shows since their child liked the show whereas with Labelle it’s like she wants to identify as the age of the audience that watches Paw Patrol.
