To be a little fair, there was an attempt last month. A hilariously poor attempt, but an attempt nonetheless. The little weirdo disappeared after that thread too. And not gonna lie, but I'm coming around more and more to that idea of "haters" making acconts and sperging harder than EVS has ever done to deflect criticisms because someone competent should made a decent thread by now if they gave a shit. There's certainly enough dumb drama to pull from the CG thread alone. That or he's just lucky enough to be intensely hated by a bunch of morons that do more damage to themselves than their actual target

I'm personally not concerned with anyone backing me. I am however finding a shit-ton of irony about a Kiwi with his fee fees in a joint over someone being condescending.

Nor am I concerned with anyone backing Comicsgate or not. The people who agree with it will back it regardless of the wailing and gnashing of teeth the antis/SJWs offer up... and those who don't agree with their tantrum, won't. Considering how all the ...ahem... 'problematic' personalities AND smaller/newer guys in CG seem to get their funding goals rapidly met (sometimes in under an hour in the case of Zak and that awful/vile/evil/doubleplus realbad Ethan Van Scyver!!!!! huff, pant, stomp), I'll go out on a limb and say that making threads or videos or whatever showflakes do about them isn't hurting their support any.

This is pretty bad logic given I like Zack doing the same thing and actually surpassing the "professionals" in this regard; his cover is probably the one I'll buy from the lot because I like him. The reason I don't back Ethan as much still lies in the mixture of refusing to disengage from pointless e-slapfights he also provokes as much as the other people, his only recently fixed output problems, and his ego problems for what he is and where he stands.

I'll also note that he only seemed to ramp up new editions to actually make his bragging about being the biggest comic ever true when it got brought up here.

And the argument you're trying fails by the way: see any franchise that used the argument you just tried on me, a potential consumer who'd be willing to buy and did in the past. Brag all you want, but your gay movement peaked; it's now dying like Gamergate, and this condescension just accelerates it.
