Sadly you and I have the benefit of a lot of education that emphasizes critical thinking and young people, who are not known for their critical thinking, are getting a heavy dose of education in social justice and postmodern nonsense in lieu of and quite often (as in the case of "trans women are women") in direct opposition to critical thinking. It's no wonder they're receptive to the cult of transgenderism either in their thinking or in actually pursuing it. The worst is that this is even making inroads in the sciences. Someone like Julia Serrano (a troon) can get a position in the biology at UC Berkeley pushing nonsense like this (which is relatively tame for >her even, but it's also a subject she's not qualified to write on, still gets published. This International Journal of Transgenderism is probably owned by the cult though.)It is fucking scary. I don't know if it's my medical education or the fact that I have a brain but generally if I were to transition and looking at SRS the thought process would be like
Step back, is there anything else that could be causing this? What's the recommended treatment for this? Are there any contraindications for the recommended treatment approach? What are the expected outcomes? What are the worst possible outcomes? If the worst possible outcome happens, how will I deal with it? etc.
troons: it can fool an OB/GYN I swear
