I think it's a typical abuser thing to do to claim that the spouse that's been abused is actually an abuser, and if I'm remembering correctly...exactly what Maplewife said he would try to do on her GFM.

e: The more I think about this, the more upset I get. What a subhuman piece of shit. This guy has likely been a minimal part of the kid's life, if not through his pill haze then at minimum him admitting himself that he's spent a year laid up in bed, and now he's going to take her away from her Mom with presumably false claims that she's in danger with her.

The spouse who cheated is going to be viewed as “at fault” in a contentious divorce. Evidence of him leaving his wife alone for a month to go fuck another woman, who’s mentally ill and likes shrooms and coke, and then bringing her to his home will not bode well for custody matters either.
