Well it has started Woman, 23, given puberty-blockers at NHS Tavistock clinic joins High Court fight to stop the drugs being prescribed to children 'as young as nine' who want to change gender it's going to be interesting to see where this goes and how it effects trans kids, one can only hope things get better. I do see more of these Court fights coming in the future though for a few reasons, one they're using off-label drugs with no known long term known side-effects, and two those detransing who were misdiagnosed. The tower is starting to wobble, just needs a bigger push.

Am I missing something here? What does trump have to do with this? And why do troons all assume that it's only stuffy conservatives who don't praise the girldick? I've seen enough here to know that transphobes can be found all across the political spectrum.
On the surface the idea of changing names sounds like it makes sense when flipping genders but the longer I think about it the less sense it makes. I don't see normal people treating their birth names like a temporary placeholder. Your name is you first and foremost, not your gender. When you think you've always been the opposite sex it makes even less sense. You've always been a girl called bob and according to you nothing has changed.

Update on the sad story of Ella Hollywood:
Guys, I did some research and maths and I can confirm now that the birth year of 1997 from the "PizzaGirl1997" alias that Ella used on Twitch is definitely fake. Ella was apparently 17, A MINOR, when he was camming online and when he tried to get into the hardcore BDSM online t-porn industry with the help of his t-porn crush Natalie Mars on Twitter. Check this out:
According to this article about the tragedy that befell his family, Ella was 14 when his dad died in 2015 ("and 14-year-old son, Jean-Luc"). This means Ella was born in either 2000 or 2001, so the 1997 birthdate Ella used for his "PizzaGirl1997" Twitch account was definitely fake. Ella apparently lied about his age to get on Twitch without parental supervision. I am sure they are going to claim plausible deniability and say: "We just didn't know! He said on Twitter (and we all know how reliable that is) he was 18! HE LIED TO US!", but that's bullshit, they should've double checked everything before referring him to anything or anyone.
How I feel after discovering all this:

Clearly there is a financial and a rather exploitative incentive to go on HRT into play here. This transition just cannot be looked at as a sincere transition. Always wondered why troons find sex work to be this magical answer to not wanting to work a 9-5. I could be biased because both my grandmother and mother have been trafficking victims at seperate points, but to act like sex work is inherently safer or less predatory in terms of work that trans people can do is fucking lunacy. The extralegality of it means there’s no recourse for most victims of abuse, and that coming forward means losing out on employment opportunities and potentially creating a criminal record. Not to mention all the instances of abuse that are likely to occur when someone’s doing sex work. Really sad to hear that about Ella, I’m sure she was probably pushed by older twans giwls to do sex work because it’s zomg so much more convenient. Sad that the trans community refuses to confront grooming when it’s right fucking in front of them.
