Exactly, he also bragged how his show is a deconstruction of kids shows and says the show could teach realistic lessons compared to other cartoons.
How?

All I've learned from reading each script he shits out is that Enter has a crossdressing fetish and doesn't know how humans talk.

One of the highest comments on the video he put out was this. Adjusted some formatting since it was kind of text-blocky:

A couple of things

1. I think people recommend 3 minute shorts so you can get some experience animating before biting off more than you can chew, not because anything do with your storytelling.

2.I think the world of Growing around just breaks suspension of disbelief for me. I have never agreed with this idea that you can only have one idea for your premise and anything else is a no go. If there had been a show that just had a boy genius, and then one episode, he said "Ok, Here's my lab" I would probably buy it just fine. It's strange, because you did a really good job explaining suspension of disbelief in your Totally Spies video, framing it as a transaction that the audience has to pay logic to get Entertainment.

You could have as many logical inconsistencies as you want as long as you manage to make the show believable and entertaining. An example I like to use is the Teen Titans episode "Crash". That episode makes no sense. Beast Boy infects cyborg with a virus that is somehow both a physical virus and a computer virus. According to Robin if Cyborg eats that satellite every machine in the city will explode. It's never explained how Beast Boy can speak as a single-cell organism even though he can't speak as any other non-human animal. I don't care about any of that because the episode is really fun.

I think alot of the problem with the idea of growing around is that it encompasses All of society, All of Human history, and that is a lot to take. I just think a lot of things about your world don't make sense, even given that it's a cartoon premise. It goes against human nature and becomes unrelatable. Like your justification for adult getting replaced by children in work is that's what happens in the real word anyway, but In the real world the idea is that you work hard contributing to society for 40 years and then you send the rest of your life relaxing. That's not always what happens, but that's the idea.

Your world seems to work on the idea that at 18 you arbitrarily lose your rights, and spend the next 70 or so years being bossed around by kids and doing what they want you to do. I think that's what people mean when they say "I wouldn't want to live in this world". They mean that the idea that people would go along with this is unrelatable and suspension of disbelief breaking. Another thing I don't really buy into is the idea behind the schools. You suggest that adults go to school because they need to learn to how to be creative again ,but creativity isn't something that just goes away when you grow up. In the real world It's beaten out of you by schools, but in a society where children didn't go to school and that values creativity in the first place chances are you would still have it as an adult.

Even his fans have some of the exact same issues we do.

All I've learned from reading each script he shits out is that Enter has a crossdressing fetish and doesn't know how humans talk.
He gave an example and bragged that in a bullying episode, instead of the moral being of children having to ask adults to help them bully. Enter thinks it's realistic for children to solve being bullied on their own instead of asking an adult and acknowledged how tough and scary this is.

This is ignoring the fact children are immature and the bullies won't always take confrontation well.

Enter: This cartoon's bad because it has a bad moral.
Also Enter: The moral of this cartoon is to not ask for help.

I mean, true that your teacher/etc. might not always make the right call, but it's a better idea than a little kid trying to handle a serious problem by themselves with very limited life experience.

Second of all, Enter makes the rookie mistake of assuming all "pilot" episodes are the first ones to air, which is blatantly wrong.
My guess is because these days every first episode is labeled as the pilot. Even old shows retroactively get their first episode labeled as such. I think it's an expectations thing more than anything else. Even though a pilot is supposed to be a visual of the average episode and the first one isn't because it introduces everything.

Enter has some serious trust issues with people he sees as "authority figures", probably because they tried to make him stop acting so autistic. TBH a big part of GA, in my eyes at least, is Enter working out his issues with parental and school authority through fiction, similar to CWC. It's already obvious he's doing this with his gender and sexuality issues.

Dear lord this was a painful sit. Who the fuck makes creator commentaries for their unproduced scripts?

I’ll save you all from my rant via the spoiler feature.

He begins all of this by bitching about pilots, because he doesn’t understand what a pilot is. The name is self explanatory. It drives the show. The pilot’s only purpose is to be the first episode. What do you need in the first episode? The central characters doing something that’s similar to what they will be doing for the remainder of the show. In other words, it’s a regular fucking episode. He tried to sound smart by saying “think of any pilot you like and tell me if it’s yours favorite episode.” But that’s just a fallacy. Of course the pilot isn’t gonna be the best, often times the writers are just getting into the groove of the show.(for the record. I think the only legitimately funny episode of Bob’s Burgers was the pilot, but that’s just me).

He then complains about time constraints. “Brevity is my weakness.” And it was so important for him to have 22 minute episodes because “there’s so much to tell.” He claims that if he doesn’t show everything, he will feel like he wasted a concept. This is just the sign of bad writing because rather than pick the strongest elements and do something good when them, he feels the need to use everything regardless of quality. You know John, sometimes you can save unused elements on one episode and repurpose them into another. It happens all the time.
He also has this text that says “asking a writer for under a minute is like asking an artist to draw stick figures.” Which is absolutely stupid, especially in animation. You can get a LOT done in a single minute, especially when a minute can take weeks to animate depending on the complexity. I know you’re a shit writer(you even say you’re incapable of a short episode) but don’t lump yourself in with more efficient people.

he then claims the bloat and length of his pilot is necessary because it has to introduce over a dozen characters. But you know, it really doesn’t. He could have been just fine with less than half that cast and have the others be random extras in the background. Not every character needs to be vital when the location is a god damn party.

then, his big rant begins. First by claiming “Growing Around is the show to teach kids that it’s okay to grow up.”
Because slavery, prison camps, forced humiliation, and being stripped of all human rights is somehow a good thing to teach kids. The only benefit a world like this could have is as a lesson in karma.

he goes on to claim that the general public has been too stupid to get his premise, and that’s what’s been holding him back. And says you don’t need to be given all the lore to understand the show because you don’t read the prequel to lord of the rings first, despite lord of the rings being both a sequel to the hobbit, and fully adept at explaining its required lore as you read. I doubt he’s read any of Tolkien’s work. Finishing with

“I owe zero explanation to my premise, that’s the definition of a premise in fiction.” I guess he has no idea what a plot hole is or how it can be distracting

Except there’s one problem John. You have given explanations. And they’re creepy. And the more you explain, the creepier it gets. That’s why people ask about pedophiles and the like, because your “answers” are always more alarming than the question.

Then he complains about people bringing up the aging system by saying “Someone younger than you will replace you eventually.”
But he has never worked, so how would he know this? That doesn’t happen if you’re good at your job, and definitely not at basically at the beginning of your life. As I said before, you’re an adult way longer than you’re a child. You can work most jobs until you’re 60 and be fine. Some can ’work well into their 70’s and 80’s with no problems. Especially if they’re healthy. That’s more than 40 years on average. GA‘s world strips you of your job around age 18, 14 years at best. And you don’t just lose your job. You go to the home for the childless and lose your rights as a human, forced to become a slave for the rest of your life. Which again, much longer than your childhood.

his last real bit is the most bizarre and the one that set me off the off.

He says that you don’t need to worry about fleshing out every detail. Going as far as to claim his “advice” to anyone creating a series(like he should be giving advice to anyone) is “don’t worry about accurate lore. That’s the fanfic writer’s job”

No dumb ass. Any writing class will teach you to create a full list of every possible detail for a character. Most of it will never be seen in the final product. This is so you have a fully fleshed out human character and you have a perfect understanding of who they are and how they would react in any given situation. This is especially important to give to actors in a script setting. The royale with cheese conversation in pulp fiction is a great example. Through it you learn that Vince spent time in Europe, choses McDonald’s over burger king(which later plays into the fact that he’s a vintage purist) and likes to hold his knowledge of Europe as a badge of honor. He’s important to Wallace. So important that he was sent to Amsterdam and is trusted with his wife. All of that can be seen through a silly conversation between him and Jules about the regional differences of America and Europe. That’s how you make a character. You define them off the record and let them react to the scenes on the record.

This video, more than any of them, is proof of how pompous, arrogant, clueless, and outright bitter he is with everything he does. He doesn’t understand a god damn thing, but wants to talk down to everyone like he’s a genius. And the animatic at the end, that bit really got me. It was his huge “take that bullies!” moment. Only it just shows how much trouble he’s actually in. The voice acting is horrible, the music is just awful, and the framing doesn’t suit itself to actual animation. Not to mention the writing is not flattering. It looks like maybe a week’s worth of work. Which is alarming seeing as it’s been “in the works” for years.

My guess is because these days every first episode is labeled as the pilot. Even old shows retroactively get their first episode labeled as such. I think it's an expectations thing more than anything else. Even though a pilot is supposed to be a visual of the average episode and the first one isn't because it introduces everything.
Actually, in tv the pilot is usually there to test the water. Often times it never airs publicly. A good portion of pilots are mainly tests to see if the show runner and their crew are capable of delivering on the pitch. It’s one thing to say you have these grand ideas, it’s another thing to be given tens of millions to do it. That’s why so many animation pilots look so weird compared to the finished show. The pilots are also used for test audiences to get feedback to make adjustments for the show.

EDIT: my advice to anyone; don’t trust apple’s autocorrect to not make you look like a total idiot. At this point the broken apple English has become like a trademark of my posts, and I hate it

He seems to legitimately not know how shows are pitched, which is absolutely insane considering his line of “work”.

“Why do I need a pilot? What the hell is a series bible? I’m just going to fund all 150+ episodes through Patreon anyway.”

Also he ignores the unfortunate implications which is what would be checked by those he would theoretically pitch the show to because they would ask questions if it is appropriate to even show for children or what stuff would children take away from it. This wouldn't matter for other shows but Enter clearly wants to teach morals.

Two days late, but here it is:

And another comment on his GA "commentary":
Crazy56u powiedział(a):
So. Here are my notes.

1) You legitimately think you can fund this with Patreon, despite the fact that your previous crowd-funding attempt crashing and burning was a clear sign this project is doomed to fail.

2) You don't understand that true purpose of a pilot is to get the attention of and sell your show to networks.

3) You think any episode can be a pilot, regardless if (given your Steven Universe example) it is the extremely plot-dependent season finale.

4) You don't understand that a show has to build towards a certain point, and that just jumping to said point for your "pilot", on the grounds that it is good enough to "sell" your show is a bad mistake.

5) You don't even plan on pitching this show.

6) You think your show is able to properly have adult conversations about children's issues and problems, when clearly you have no idea what you are doing.

7) You want to teach children the incredibly problematic and toxic "lesson" that popularity is important.

8) You don't know that the importance of a series bible is as an essential tool in pitching a television show and is meant to be an additional way to explain the tone, look and themes of your pilot.

9) You fail to realize that this whole ordeal just reeks of trying and failing to answer the common "let's see you do better" complaint.

And 10) Overall, you make Baywatch Nights come off as being better developed and produce (and trust me, that show was smart enough to know it needed a pitch pilot to get it on TV).

My bro. You are so delusional and misinformed about the reality of what you wish to accomplish, it's astounding. You clearly don't know how to make a cartoon, despite being a cartoon critic. I actually hope this crashes and burns, you desperately need the reality check. Also, as an aside: maybe the reason why people keep thinking this show is about reverse aging and not role-reversals is because you actually need to make a pilot in order to properly express these things. You know, just a thought.

On note about Enter bitching about pilots, the pilot of American Dad, despite it being vastly different from the rest of the show, is one of my favorites of the show as well as the Oh Yeah Cartoons! FOP pilot.

So a pilot can be up there with the best of the best.

Oh boy, the next Nick-o-Rama video might end up being the worst one yet. I expect 5 minutes of Mr. Enter just saying "it's boring" repeatedly.

It’s absolutely never going to happen, but I legitimately want to see some up-and-coming streaming service or desperate production company give him a chance on a full pilot, just for the inevitable trainwreck. Enter trying to manage a full team sounds like a nightmare.

goodness, I could barely get through that "commentary". He's just so HATEFUL towards anyone who criticises him for not knowing how to write or how to pitch a show. he genuinely thinks he is the only person who knows how to do it.

I gave all these comments thumbs up. I love that people are calling him out on his bullshit with actual facts and well thought out posts, I wonder how he will take it. I thought maybe after the indiegogo disaster of 2018 his ego had taken a hit but boy was I wrong. That commentary video reminds me of his MS Paint Neckbeard Avatar era tantrums. At the very least its a lot more entertaining and has more passion than any review he's done in months, even if its for the wrong reasons. Half his main channel videos barely even get mentioned in this thread but that commentary on his extra channel has almost a page of discussion. I'm still cracking up at his big "take that" being 40 seconds of animation with Z-grade voice acting after years and years of work.

I see animatics for songs in musicals that look more well animated than Enter's garbage animatic.

Also why would society in Growing Around be like normal human society but designed by kids?!

Furthermore, does anyone think Enter's new avatar is worse than his old one cause the new avatar looks like one of those villains in stranger danger PSAs and a possible predator.

The best part is that he’s absolutely going to do more of these, because he obviously cares about this shitty idea of his more than anything else.

On the topic of the animatic, though, what still strikes me the most about it is the line “My parents could drive better than you!”

It legitimately seems that Enter associates growing up in the GA universe with some form of mental regression, because normal people don’t just lose learned skills as they grow older, which is also the basis of the schooling system he set up.
