So, I've read through this thread and I've seen the nail-in-the-coffin evidence of the steam account, but I'm not convinced. See, my problem is that throughout this thread, there's a lot of back and forth where people bring up excellent points for either side. But I can't figure out what the group consensus is on each issue.

It might be helpful if we could have a separate thread where we can hash out these issues, and maintain in the OP what the general consensus is on each argument.

There is plently of evidence scattered between the kiwi thread and the 8chan thread. I'd suggest you check the 8chan thread since most of the investigating took place there. Most of the arguing took place on kiwi

I think only the people who attempted to troll him got trolled. I really don't feel like he trolled me at all and most likely the other people who just laughed and watched feel the same.

I'd want to hear his side of the story because as of right now all I can think is how much of a waste of time this was on his part to do, well, whatever the end goal of this was supposed to be. To me I still feel he must be some sort of lolcow himself or a massive attention whore to do this for so long on such a small group of people. Who's time really got wasted?

At the risk of sounding conceited, this was pretty easy to figure out. The Deagle Nation shit is hugely over the top and unrealistically stupid. It was entertaining but from the second I watched his sims 3 stream I didn't believe it.

There is an uncanny resemblance between the two. Now one would just need a comparison between Eli and the MDE actor.

Dicksquad probably are real, Jace just played along while it was funny. That's why Hats got rekt when he was pushing it too far.
 
Jace Connors a fake you say? Does this mean that Brianna Wu was trolled by a performance artist this whole time? What about his friends Eli and Tyce, are they actors too? I have a few questions to ask now that I know that Jace was probably an actor all along. Part of me is not too surprised, because what kind of parent would name their child "Jace" anyway? But much of this saga has been incredible, with Eli going to Israel and other things too.

I don't know what to say. I'm just shocked by this revelation.

I saw the evidence. At the time each piece of evidence was introduced, they all seem convincing. That's my problem. I know what the group consensus was when the evidence was introduced, but I don't know if later considerations discredited it. A centralized place for the current state of things would be useful. That's not really feasible to setup with 8chan threads because you can't edit posts. (Or can you? If so, nevermind.)

Edit: And actually, I prefer the arguing. I just would like, at the end of the day, a centralized place for what results the arguing produced.

Ziltoid posted two images to compare Tyce and his actor so no doubt, Tyce was just a character. Same can be said for Eli (the Israel Tupacalypse thing may as well been some vacation for him or something like that). Either way, as one has said, Wu gets hit the hardest in this since she tried to accuse what turned out to be a fictional character. At least most if not all of us here laugh due to finding this rather funny. Wu on the other hand really fell for a fictional character to the point she (may or may not have actually done) gotten a restraining order.

Somebody posted an image of Sam Hyde a while back that looked surprisingly similar to Eli. It would be hilarious they were the same person, because I would have never made the connection between Eli's inanimate stoner disposition and Sam Hyde's shrill hyperactivity.

There was ten minutes or so of him just laying still on the floor - could there have been some "Bus That Couldn't Slow Down" trickery with the feed while they got his pants and the floor wet?

Edit: Nah, getting him back in the exact same position without an obvious jump?

I like to think Jace was a character by Jan as an act until Jace became a individual personality that took over and destroyed Jan's identity.

Edited: Honestly, this must be the feeling that Chris when he finds out his girlfriend is a fake.

I have to hand it to Jan, he kept up an act for the best part of three years in a convincing manner. I couldn't even pull off something like that for three seconds.
