I've thought of this before as well, with Chris as well as Jace. What if this is all an act? An elaborate social experiment? What if about a year from now a video is posted of either of them- looking good in an Italian suit- standing by their corvette & trophy blond girlfriend, and the camera pans over the set that was their "house" as people take down the sound gear...and then back to them.

I remember after the boston bombing, one particular loon talking about how the injured people were "crisis actors" and had started the day injured. Then she found some pictures of another person missing their leg, but the faces didn't match up. The person insisted they were the same person but refused to explain to anyone else why.

Well, yes it's rhetorical but only because I figured no one really had the answer. My guess, from what I've seen, it's pretty high.
 
I wasn't ever really interested in this nonsense, but there were plenty of other users that called it. Can't say I'm surprised.

This explains a lot. I guess i'm one of those who enjoyed Jace with a semi-conscious suspension of disbelief. I tend to look at a lot of these situations (Peter Coffin for example) not really caring if it's real or not, just enjoying it for the entertainment value.

But as folks have said, this explains Tupacalypse... but also things like Tyce's de-evolution from coherent twitter using teenager to someone who legit thought anarchist was written as fucking analchest and thought he could get high by smelling his own shit. Not to mention carting around a wagon full of matchbox cars? I don't know, i'm with the people that think this isn't all straight up fiction either, so some of these things could be real, but all of them?

And the way the streams always culminated in a third-act, satisfying event?

And not to be a dick, but the way DD (who I like, honestly) would defend Jace's realness with such veracity and venom always struck me as a sign that something wasn't on the up and up. Either because he was defending the ruse (most likely) or had sunk so much time into it that if it was fake he'd have to really question himself and what he'd been doing with all that time.
 
It feels like the ending to a show left on a cliffhanger, but then cancelled. Will Stryker make his revengence on Wu? Will Tyce rejoin the Deagle Nation and fight in the Skeleton War? Will Eli survive the attack on Tumblr HQ? CANCELLED
