It was just really only recent that he his videos started breaking the multi thousand view mark, so why would he stick to this for so long when in the beginning barely anyone was paying attention to him.

I can't say I'm surprised, from the start I had my doubts due to too many inconsistencies. When I first got here though and started voicing my doubts I used to get down voted with autistic and late ratings so I assumed that everyone else knew something I didn't. It's weird though, even though I prepared myself for this mentally long before I got attached to the Jace character it still feels bad man. Like finding out your girlfriend of six months has been hiding a terrible secret all along.

That's why I think even if it is an act he's still a huge cow and possibly the biggest sperg in history. It's too much work for too little reward so unless this guy IRL is a massive pile of autism the maths don't add up.

The same reason anyone does it. It's pretty rare that your first or second video will ever make it big, so you keep building and hope that your accumulated work gets noticed.

But of course you're assuming that fame was the goal to begin with. A lot of times artists appreciate a small, but dedicated fanbase just as much.

Suspense of disbelief was always key to enjoying Jace.
I really don't know how to feel about this overall, I mean it was entertaining as hell, but the ride is over, I guess which makes me very much sad because Jace was my favourite cow after Chris. Either way, Godspeed to DeagleDad420(in case he was in on the ruse) and the Deagle Nation Crew for giving us the performance of a lifetime :semperfidelis:.
 
I've always talked up Jace being real to people I know. I loved telling people stories of his wacky misadventures from his livestreams to his operations, and I am a bit sad to see that it was all fake. From Jesus Camp to Operation Wupacalypse.

For now I'm mostly going to wait until Jace says something about this or Jan finally breaks character and come out gives an explanation.

What would make the most sense is he's making a Borat style show or film.

Although it might be like @Zim says, the last time I found out a lolcow was just acting it was a guy called Autphag and he ended up being a bigger lolcow than his fake persona so I really hope it's not like that.

One thing that's for sure though is that Woodychan must be feeling pretty dumb right now.

Maybe being Jace Connors is a reward in it's own right? For example, I think Larry Hagman just loved being JR Ewing because, as JR, he could do all the things he couldn't do as Larry Hagman.
