This looks pretty impressive, but I'm still not believing Jace is a ruse until more evidence comes out. It could be that nob1337 was just an alternate steam account for Jace that Tyce took during the Civil War, and that "Jan Rankovski" is just an alias Jace used when looking for publishers for Tyberius Rising. I'm a bit hesitant to jump the Ruse Train because that would make Jan a man who:

- Hosts streams up to 6 hours long in character
- Recruited another master performance artist to go to Israel to do basically nothing
- Has been in-character for 9 years
- Crashed a car for a sketch just a few minutes long
- Recruited up to 10 other actors who are massively talented (Colby, Tyce, Eli, Gail)
- Made up elaborate backstories for his characters, even those who never came on screen (there was a time during a stream when Jace talked about Caleb for hours)
- Faked hair loss over a period of 3 years and made it look realistic.
- Invented his own vocabulary and neologisms for his characters to use.
- Was content to never make a dime on a project that must have cost him thousands of dollars. (until Eli's xbox at least.)
 
This was not a ruse cruise, this was a god damn ruse rocket ship across the galaxy

I'm with you on this... but that's not going to happen.

What happens next, is that DeagleDad wakes up, and insists that Jace is real, and that he's met Jace, and then he's shouted down as being a shill or being in on the whole thing.

I just started looking into the whole Deagle Nation portion of the site and the wiki about them a couple of weeks ago. I could not believe that anyone was as dumb as Jace and crew made themselves out to be. People assured me it was real and I kinda accepted it (I mean who making a ruse makes hours and hours of vlogs, streams, and video tours of military stores?).

Shoulda just stuck with my initial instincts :(
 
I haven't been here long enough to know, but if this proves to be true (Jace being fake) then will this become one of those iconic moments of this forum that gets mentioned for years afterwards? Cause I feel like this would qualify.
 
If this is legit, then we NEED to have somebody interview Jan and the Deagles to get their opinions, to find out more about how they managed to pull this whole thing off.

Like, I NEED to know how they pulled off the Prius crash.

Finished the last of my vodka just a while ago. Crawled in to bed. My phone goes off there's a message to check the forum. I'm at a loss for two reasons: if this is an elaborate troll, goddamn it. Making John Flynt freak out was totally awesome. Second reason? It's too late in my locale to go and get more vodka. All I have is Blue Curacao...goddamn it.
