honestly what kind of cold hearted person do you have to be to despise vic like monica does.

i just cant see how she can lay back and let this shit happen to him, all vic wants to do is to just meet his fans and do his job

vic said in the deposition he has never been arrested in his life. and the only bad thing we are aware of was him cheating and that's it... there's nothing out there, not a single piece of evidence of this man committing any wrong doing and that is what annoys me the most.

30 years and not a single picture or anything just words that have been contorted and changed as the story goes on.

i really hope vic does come close to where i live hoping he would come to a convention near me so i can give him a big hug. he has recieved so much negative attention and shit from people becuase a bunch of snakes arent happy with themselves.
From the begenning this was never about vic getting help.all they wanted was to ruin Vic's life and drive him to suicide.

Monica doesn't even care if vic receives harrasement.there are plenty of messages out there of people calling him a pedo.

I'm sure that vic has gotten messages from people telling him to kill himself and other unpleasant messages.

She's a vindicate cunt that enjoys seeing vic suffering.

She may put on facade but monica knows it.

Monica/Jamie when Vic gets harassed: hahahhaha he deserves it

Monica when she gets harassed: I didn't do anything to deserve this it's horrible I'm a woman believe me

Jamie when she gets harassed: I'm a bad bitch don't cross me.
(Later)
OH I'M EMOTIONALLY DAMAGED LOOK AT HOW MUCH OF A VICTIM I AM

It truly is vile how Monica will go out of her way to attack and destroy Vic, backing up and retweeting and supporting people saying even worse things about Vic than she does constantly, but then the moment she gets the SLIGHTEST pushback, she runs away crying saying "I didn't do anything!!!" hoe, if you were telling the truth you are still provoking people and should expect this. It's complete absurdity to suggest that you can slap someone around, knock them down and then start kicking them and not get slapped in response by someone.

Someone who is telling the truth about these things doesn't behave like she does.
Especially not how Jamie and Ron are behaving either.

The only person I've felt that has been truthful besides Vic, is Stan (and by proxy EriMin) because he absolutely does not give a fuck about what anyone is saying or how they feel because they know what their experience is, they have nothing to hide and don't waste time trying to go to bat with people who are looking to cause trouble.

Liars have to convince people to believe them because getting validation is part of the lie, which helps them believe it so that it becomes truth.

God everytime I hear the defeat in this guy's voice makes me tear up

It genuinely hurts to think this man had everything that he loved so much, his work and the ability to interact with fans, taken from him.

Let's be real, his career as a professional VA is over. Funimation won't rehire him, other companies won't hire him. Big cons won't invite him anymore. He probably lost a part of his fanbase.

On the other hand, he's getting roles with small studios now. He gets invited to small cons. And he gained a whole lot of fans.

In the end, he lost a lot and gained some. His life will never be the same, though. Him being able to put his everything into a big anime role, talking about it with other actors at a panel at a big convention - not going to happen like that anymore. But he can still attend small cons and talk to his actual fans on Unlocked. Yet still - not the same.

This is the problem with cancel culture. Not a doubt in my mind if his fans didn't rally to him we'd have his obituary by now.

He is still able to attend small cons because the big ones have sold out to Jinnie McFatso's cartel.

No. I don't accept that. Maybe Funimation won't rehire him (we'll see how the case plays out. Anything is possible with settlement), but when it comes out that these people were lying, when Funimation is burning embers because they didn't settle and take him back, there's absolutely no reason to believe Vic won't continue to work. His career isn't over. He even had offers at the worst point of this, which Vic had to turn down because he was too depressed and upset to focus on any work.

He will get back into big cons. He will get roles again. Will he get the roles he lost? Who knows. Will he get back into Funimation? Unlikely, unless Funimation goes full turncoat to protect itself. As long as this lawsuit continues onward and more people are forced to see that Monica and the others are liars, he will get back what he lost and also gain armor against future attempts to attack him. Yes, he was still damaged by this, but when he can slap down a piece of paper in front of a prospective employer showing that Monica and Jamie lied and Funimation got nuked, they're going to be way more likely to ignore screeching fujoshi. Like they always have until Monica, Jamie, and Funimation made it seem like he had credible accusations against him.

Most of these weebs don't really have a say over the comic cons or video gaming cons, plus the non-specific media conventions.

And those tend to draw a larger crowd since they aren't necessarily a niche unless it's something like the Trek con in Vegas. And even then, it's not like they give a shit about the anime community. They'll pander but it's not on their priority list, they invite people who attendees will pay to see.

Lucky for them, people will pay to see Vic.

Biting, licking, and groping male actors and band members is so extremely common that a subculture of it became as commonly accepted as twin threesomes. It's basically the same mentality as groupies, who would trick rock stars into thinking that they were adult women (while being as young as 13 in reality) and then try to get pregnant by them so that they could be married or famous somehow. There used to be magazines specifically targeted at groupies with tips and tricks about how to convincingly pretend to be an adult, and how to keep a rock star boyfriend. While it's less implicitly accepted to just trick men into sex anymore (I believe that's called rape by deceit), I can actually link to posts from people on tumblr and livejournal complaining not about VAs groping fans, but about fans groping VAs, and the observer being made uncomfortable by it. Or of posts where said fans gloat and cheer about how they grabbed on to some guy butt (in one particular case I believe it was two female fans who posed for pictures with Vic and then grabbed him inappropriately off camera right when the photo was taken, then giggling about him being uncomfortable.

I recall one story with Daniel Radcliffe saying something about a girl running up outside his hotel window and opening up a towel she was wrapped in (a Harry Potter one, I think) to show off her nakedness to him. While he was very underage. Any heart throb type actor always seems to end up groped and variously molested by their fans unsettlingly often. And then when they tell the story, it's always treated as comedy.

In fairness, they're fangirling over a 100 year old vampire who looks like a 17 year old, not over an actual 17 year old boy. The anime community is full of the reverse, and they're called lolicon. No one calls the police on them, they're just embarrassed by them.

I'm still curious exactly how it works. Only Lemoine's files were unredactable?

ok california boomer.
If you want to properly redact a document there are several good ways to do this and several bad ones.

Lemwah chose a bad way.
Perez and Casey Erick had a good one and a different one which was old skool but well known.

Print out. Black out with marker. Scan. Black box over redacted areas.

It could also have been redacted, printed, scanned, redact boxed again.

When I removed the redaction boxes on his "Funimation" client papers the colors underneath looked uneven and was wondering if it was a result of a bad printer or black marker. If the latter I was curious if there was a way to experiment with this. Mostly to learn really. I'm curious but also currently drowned in work and duties.

If anyone knows, share. I'm curious if it us even possible to edit such a document to find what was underneath black markers.

Sorry I'm just a nerd who likes to nerd sometimes.

Basically. The primary thorn in Vic's side is Funimation using its massive connections and influence to literally continuously commit TI on him with conventions even while they're in the process of being sued for exactly that. Eliminate Funimation from the equation and then prove Monica and Marchi to be lying and all the hashtags in the world won't do anything to Vic, because no one really cares what fujoshi think.

And I personally suspect that the other studios that aren't Funimation or RT aren't actually involved in blocking him from getting roles. He's just busy and nothing has come up for him. JoJo kept him on until his character was finished, Sentai told Ty that they've never banned him from anything, Bryce and David have kept him on Unlocked, and Vic said he's had to turn down some offers due to the situation the defendants have put him in. The primary damage that has been done is all centered around Funimation/RT/CR roles (they're incestuous companies) and the specific cons that Funimation has disproportionate influence over.

See? They don't give a shit. They aren't anime specific.
It's business for them.

Also got a news notification that Funi renewed the rights to FMA:B and that made me laugh.
This comes the day after they announce new leadership, and the fact that Funi gave themselves an out? Oooooo boy I wonder what is happening behind the scenes.

Interesting, I assumed that physically redacting it with marker would be less effective than digitally doing it, because the colors would be uneven and you could conceivably be able to suss out what was written there. I'm not sure how you would remove redactions that were put in digitally.

I think if Funimation got rid of the parasites killing the working morale, I believe they'll take Vic back in a heartbeat. It's clear that Vic's real vendetta isn't against Funimation, but rather Chris Sabat and his clique of degenerate minions who run that company like a sorority house and were jealous of his success. It speaks volumes that during the deposition when Vic was asked to list possible candidates who wanted him gone, he said Chris Sabat's name without hesitation, but was reluctant to name Monica, Jamie and even someone like Sean Schemmel.

The chuckle part is that Vic Mignogna's price tag is higher than everybody else, except maybe the Dallas Cowboys players. That's gotta to be a sore spot for Sonny Strait and that bald-headed midget Martin.
