A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

I remember when I was still in school when it was PE time and we had to change in the lockers, more than half of us girls would change in the stalls anyways because we were embarrassed by our own bodies. Maybe it was because puberty had just hit you and you had your period and you didn't feel like flashing your pads or tampons to the other girls, or your tits were growing at a different rate from one another, or you were bloated and felt fat, or you hadn't shaved and had weird hair growing from places you didn't even know existed, or you just didn't feel like showing your still-growing and ever-changing body to other people. Also, I'm not sure how it works in the US, but where I'm from the teachers would almost always never be present in the locker room when we were changing. I guess that's just a plus for these "progressives": unregulated and unprotected access to a female's space.

In conclusion, as Pim Fortuyn used to say (I'm paraphrasing here): "The emancipation of women always precedes the emancipation of homosexuals". It seems to me that these people have forgotten it, and they absolutely don't give a shit about women anymore. Fuck me.

The Maya Forstater court case (sorry if this is not the place for this, couldn't find it mentioned elsewhere)

Maya was employed for a 'think tank' Centre for Global Development (CGD) and has done a lot to promote 'women's rights'. She is a TERF though and was dismissed from her job for twittering that 'trans women are not real women'. She isn't one of the crazee terfs though and has stated that trans people have rights and these need to be evaluated alongside with womens rights. She also stated that people can have different beliefs and work together.

So she has taken her employeers to court for unfair dismissal. Fundamentally the case is a based on whether it is accepatable to hold a belief that people born men are men and those born women are women. She has been questioned on how long she believed 'women are women' and what 'celebrities believe in sexual dimorphism' (she suggested Darwin). It does not appear to be the sanest of court procedings.

I think the one thing we can take away from the first two decades of the 21st century is that men and women need environments where they can get away from one another and be with their own sex, gay as that might seem. It might even reduce the desire to troon. I'll have to work up a proper argument for that, though. Too drunk right now.
